More than virtual analogue

More than analog, too, if that soothes your local-spelling sensibility.
The sample-integration functions alone separate Mood from standard VA fare. There is so much more besides, and the app sounds really good, whatever kind of mood you want draw from it.
Five stars for outstanding sound and creative range as well as for details of workflow and customization. There remains works to be done on an awkward but potentially superb mod-wheel setup, on keyboard responsiveness - and a few other little things.
The Apes, like the VirSyns (and others), need to let users nail down their own default settings. A simple pair is why must I go back to C and 120 bpm so often, especially within a project, when I start the app or a new preset? Yes, there are circumstances in which one avoids this, but still. This kind of problem or break in flow is easy enough to design out of a program.
Maybe do brief betas on each platform you build for to get help on what users find suboptimal.
That said, I think this is a great instrument. If you are looking for a new synth - and even if you are not (I was not looking to buy another IPAD synth when I bought Mood) - give this a close look. I am very happy with it and now I see others appear to be pleased. This is one to put on a short list of possibilities.
Well done.

Much better au experience

Overall a great synth, and the new AU interface makes a lot more sense, actually the synth itself is the great, the only issue I have is with some of the presets, If you are going to include presets submitted by people I would just suggest having them be more aware of having them not be al over the place as far as key and pitch go, the ones by Shazamm are all over the place. For the most part I don’t use presets but for those who do it could present a problem.

Excellent synth

I love the way you can mix fm and sampled sounds in with the 3 voices of minimoog Nice filter. I love the apesoft LFO system as well. It's a synth I'll probably use polyphonically quite a bit.
My only wish is that the granular sample section (called "level warp") was also polyphonic. Maybe this is coming in an update. Still not enough to take away stars. Beautifully done!

Great

This app is a lot of fun. It definitely takes a stable understanding of synth knowledge. I've spent several hours playing with this and I haven't even hooked up my controller yet. Late nights playing with sound

Essentially perfect iOS synth

This is basically the last iOS synth I'll ever need. AU interface needs a major overhaul (too many pages, too much flipping back and forth, no way to get a birds eye overview), but other than that, it's amazing.

AU

Not bad but awkward as AU with Cubasis.

Brilliant!

Simple if that's what you prefer... Downright "Modular" if you want to use it for sound design... very much worth the asking price.

This Thing Rocks!

Truly one of the best synths on iOS...pairs nicely with Moog Model 15 and your hardware synths IMHO. Great work apesoft!👊🏼™
