Super happy i found this gem!
I was on the fence after downloading a few other disappointing outdated apps. I am glad i found this one! I was looking for an app that i could write scenes when I’m on the go, that was easy to use. To my surprise, Untitled nailed it on the head. As others have said, additional export options would be great. Thank you!

Learning Scripts
As someone who is new and rather inexperienced with even the format of scriptwriting, it has helped me start without being too worried of the drafts format. Now I can write and go over the details of the format later on without being so afraid of even writing everyday.
This app is a real pleasure to use and has taken my anxiety of the format for me, allowing me to focus on the writing first!
Now I don't want to stop writing!

Oh, man. Some screenwriter finally sacrificed the right animal to the Gods of the Craft - because this is going to end up being the most tremendously useful tool in my on-the-fly arsenal. And I'd be willing to venture I'm not the only one who discovers that.
Yes - it's clearly in it's initial infantile period of development, and I'm sure there will be a few cycles of feedback and improvement on the part of the designers to address some issues - but that's to be expected. However, you better believe I can hold my horses while that's being accomplished - because, even in this early state of being, it is lightyears ahead in simplicity and end-user experience than the competitors. This is exactly what some of us have been waiting for.
Some years ago, there was an effort in the industry to create that thing known as "Fountain" to run parallel with Markdown for a purpose similar to what this app is doing.
But the issue with both Fountain and Markdown is that I was constantly having to refer to a cheat sheet and it was just too many extra button presses to justify using it. So I would default back to Movie Magic or Final Draft on my laptop. But this - this embodies the simplicity and the friendly-UI that I've been yearning for.
I can't wait to see where it goes. Don't overcomplicate it and lose the magnificent simplicity it embodies, please.
However - like some other reviewers have mentioned, it would be great it there was a way to export to a format compatible with at least one of the major desktop software options: like Movie Magic Screenwriter or Final Draft. If that addition appears in one of the updates, it wouldn't quite be as marvelous as this discovery of this app itself has been, but it would be close.

Great for starting up scripts
I really like this app when I'm starting the brainstorm ideas for pilots, episodes, etc. but I wish there was a way to export as .fdx instead of .pdf all the time. That way, when I'm seriously editing, I can import it into Final Draft on my iPad instead of converting it to text on Abode Acrobat and then converting it again in Final Draft on my Mac.

I'm very upset that I bought this app. It's quite inconvenient for me. I write scripts for films and thought that this app will help me, but I was wrong.

Nifty app, but crashes on the latest OS. Look elsewhere if you dislike losing your work to crashes.

A well done, helpful screenwriting app
An amazing idea executed brilliantly. This allows me to very quickly sit down and start writing out my screenwriting ideas on my iPad without having to worry about formatting or using a computer!

Excellent for on the go screenwriting
If ideas come to your head, writing on your notes app isn't always the best solution. This app helps with quickly writing formal screenplays. Great app!

I love it
I really never buy apps, and I didn't really think of buying this app, but I am SO glad I did. As a starting author, I wanted to have something in which I could write down what I'm thinking in a different way. This app really helped me do it. It was worth the money. If you are looking at this app, and having second thoughts, buy it now!!
How to make it better (although it's already amazing):
-Lockable Notes and scripts
-Remembering character names (and maybe having a button to have that character's name plopped into the script?)
-fixing this one bug where if you have text like:
**Blahblan** and **HeheH**, it doesn't hold and italicizes the "and"
In the end, I like it a lot, and, this is my very first app review.

Clean and uncluttered
Makes it easy to use. I am not a screenwriter but I was able to turn my favorite novel into a screenplay with a very little effort. This is great because it means you can have a play never before seen! Highly recommended.

Like magic
I'm not sure what kind of witchcraft is in this app, but it literally just turned my silly little notes into a screenplay. I can't wait to sell it to Netflix!

Lots of potential
This app does exactly what it says it can do. I think there's a lot of potential in the ability to make screenwriting more available to people who aren’t screenwriters. A rich text editor would be a very welcomed improvement. Along with an iphone app as well. Big fan so far!

Finally able to pursue a dream!
I'm a lucid dreamer and have always been too intimidated to draft out my elaborate fantasies even though I know they'd make awesome screenplays. Sooo this is a blessing!!! It makes it so easy to get all my thoughts out in a clear, professional way even though I don't know the first thing about screenwriting. I finally have a means of pursuing a hobby I've been too scared to try :)

Fantastic App!
This is a very useful app for pros and novice screenwriters. If you are not familiar with script formatting this is the best way to learn. It converts your notes automatically to the proper format. Genius!

Looks like a real helpful app...
I'm just starting out with this app to determine if it can help with my nascent fiction writing aspirations.
Over the years, most of my writing has been of a technical and/or legal nature (including several technical books), but I've had a long-simmering idea for a novel set in the 1980's.
When I saw this app, I thought it could be a good tool to use in parallel with my writing to create a simultaneous screenplay.
Thus far, its been great for getting ideas on the page. I'm initially testing a different story concept, rather than my main project.
The interface seems nice and clean, which makes me inclined to use it for the 1980's novel.
For now, I'm giving it four stars because I need to spent more time with it.
I will update my review as I continue to test and use this app.
UPDATE: Just downloaded the updates. Continuing to experiment. Really enjoying the experience.
