No option to reorder

Every time we need to order the dog food, we have to try and recall which one we buy. There should be an easier way than having to search through my emails regarding a previous order.

Unable to complete shipping order

Checkout issues-again!

I’ve tried to place an order for pickup through the app multiple times over the last 4 months. Every time I submit, it gives me an error message saying they can’t process my payment at this time. All info is correct and verified. I check my card account and I have multiple temporary holds for the same amount from PetSmart (even with only one order). Item availability shows in stock and not low. I end up going to the store and they have plenty of the item. The only thing this app is good for is showing the online price to the cashier at the store for a price match.

Doesn’t work

I try to log in and it says that tye email is not in the sistem and when i try to make a new account it says there is an account already with that email
If i hit the button for option of password recovery it says the email doesn’t exist
I just opened my account in the computer 😒

Not perfect

Your App is Terrible

You’re services and products are great, but your app is clunky and not user friendly. If you come up with an error during login, location setting, or checkout you have to close the app and start the whole process over again.

App is clunky, slow and freezes

UPDATE 5/16/2020 - I originally reviewed this app 3 stars because it was okay. But after trying to use it another few months, I have to take away all the stars. This app is a horrible experience. It still freezes, doesn’t let me view or edit my cart, doesn’t show you anything related to your account (posted reviews, orders, etc.). It doesn’t let you write reviews on products. I’d like to create favorite products for faster ordering on things I buy (where I may not require subscriptions on). There are so many things I find lacking now that I’ve used this app, and PetSmart sure doesn’t seem to take any of these 1-3 star reviews as suggestions for improvements.
2/22/2020 - I use this app a lot but it seems like at least twice a week, I open it and it doesn’t respond to my touch or it freezes for no reason as I’m scrolling. I find I have to open it and not do anything for about 60 seconds before I start searching for what I want in order for the app to fully function. Just seems buggy right now. I usually end up using the website which is not ideal for mobile devices but typically works better.

I have tried and tried to setup an online account.
I keep receiving a “Janrain” error and can’t open an online account.
I have contacted customer service twice and nobody knows what it means and I can’t get this resolved so I can open an account.

PetSmart APP works, but could be smarter

In this current time of a pandemic, online shopping is exploding and has become more than a “nice to have” but is a “must have.”
Social distancing is vital to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and shopping brings us all together for too long and way to close.
PetSmart jumped into action quickly with the success of curbside pickups, deep cleaning protocols inside the store and a eager willingness to help shoppers get the products they need. Thank You for that PetSmart!
To elevate the PETSMART APP; add “history - library of past shops” INVOICES, add “Lists” created to cull together regularly used products adding the time saving advantage of jumping to items and products of household pet needs and demands and, as well, repeatedly purchased items, add “Shipment Tracking and Updates on Shipments” into the APP to illuminate the need to search emails for shipping deets. I’ve created an account in the APP and this account should add value of a one stop shop for all things associated with my PetSmart experience, shopping, tracking, savings and sales, purchasing and discovering new products.

Cannot login in the app

I just downloaded this app and created my account. But for some reason I cannot login anyway in this app. I tried changing password, login with google account and even create an other new account but did not work. The only thing it says is “We don’t recognize this email or password”. Hope someone will fix this.

WTH is going on with this app!

FRUSTRATING to say the least. Once I have completed adding items it’s impossible to view my cart. I deleted the app and reinstalled it only to make it nearly impossible to delete items or change the pick up location. Once that was done I could no longer view items in my cart. This has been an ongoing issue for the past month. I thought maybe it’s just my phone but it’s also happening on my husbands phone and once reading some of the reviews I see it’s not only an issue we are having. Only reason I didn’t give it 1 star is because I like that I am able to view all my past orders, track my rewards and my fur babies get a coupon for treats on their birthdays.

It is ok to order through the app but if you don’t receive an email or text you have to go to the online site to check status of order. The app has NO information on ordering status. If I have to go online anyway there is no point in using the app.

No way to see Order History in APP

I love that I can order items and set appointments thru the app.
I HATE that I can’t see receipts of my orders and have to refer to my email (which I can never remember the password to) in order to show verification of purchase! Truly inconvenient. Can we work on adding an “Order History” tab in the App?

Cumbersome and Inept App

One of the biggest wastes of time in the App Store. Location keeps defaulting to the Store closest to me, not the one I intend to pick up the order at despite resetting my preferred Store repeatedly. Now that I struggled through all that to get my Shopping Cart ready, the “Checkout” option is grayed out apparently because 1 can of dog food in my order is no longer available and the app doesn’t respond to the “Remove Item” option. So, now that Petsmart has effectively prevented me from shopping from their poor excuse of an app and picking it up in their store, I’ll just go to the nearby grocery store and get pet food there.
The ability to provide app feedback to Petsmart is non existent because the send key in the App Feedback section is grayed out, as well.
Come on Petsmart, show us you actually want our business and spend a little money to have a decent, self-contained app that’s capable of doing something as simple as placing an order. What you have now is an insult to your customers and the Petsmart brand.

Useless app

Have to change password every time I attempt to log in using Touch ID. I gave up and didn’t log in and just placed an order for store pickup. Have entered payment information and everything but have received no confirmation of the order.
Sorting function is also useless.

Needs some improvement

Overall it’s a good app. But why can’t I see orders I’ve placed? Why can’t I track an order from the app? And why do the email notifications about an order come completely out of order? I placed an order today, got an email that it was ready, then thanking me for picking it up, and then one confirming my order. And since I can’t see my order in the app I almost ordered again because I got no email confirmation either.

Done with PetSmart 😡

I placed an order this morning, got an error message saying my card couldn’t be charged and they didn’t accept my order. I went to my bank and I was in fact charged for the order. Called the store and was told that this has been an issue with the app, however no remorse that I was charged for the order. Went directly into the store and told them the issue and was told I have do speak to corporate customer service because they only pull the orders. Tried calling corporate and was on hold for over an hour and have to hang up cause I have to go to work. So now I’m out $30 and still no supplies. I’m currently heading to Petco

No Landscape Mode

I prefer LANDSCAPE orientation when shopping. Portrait mode is very limiting. The app should sense how you choose to view the content & adapt.
Also, not enough info is given about the products. Case in point, I wanted to shop for collars for my little guy — and the PetSmart app conveniently leaves out a CRITICAL measurement: I need to know the width of the collars so I can make an informed decision & get it right the first time, without returns or exchanges.
Anyway, I expected better from PetSmart.

Fix the bugs

Every time I go to use the app it always crashes. Right when I thought I was gonna get somewhere it turned around and crashed again. It won’t even let me open the app. I deleted and redone loaded it hoping it might help but it did the same thing.

App Totally Shuts Down If Used To Long

If I’m shopping on this app for more than 30 min the app like shuts down and kicks me out then refuses to open and start up. I’ll click to open the app and it does the same thing, shuts down and kicks me out. I’ve tried to deleting and downloading again but the same thing always happens! It’s so frustrating to use that I’m just sticking to the actual website from now on.

Not simple to use

Tried to order delivery and could not figure out how finish my order. Also, there is no “delivery” button; you have to manually look for what items are for delivery (hint: most are not). Rather drive to store than waste time figuring out this app.

Zero stars isn’t an option

Super unhappy with the checkout process:
1) The app doesn’t tell you that it takes 2 hours or next day if you order less than 2 hours until close for it to be filled.
2) You get an email an hour after your order notifying you of the above statement.
3) You also get told in that email you won’t be charged until you pick up. FALSE my card was charged immediately which I took as order confirmation at the store level.
4) 1.5 hours later and the store STILL hasn’t received my order so no pick up going to occur today.
5) I don’t have the money I spent anymore. So that means I have to wait for the store to open tomorrow in order to get dog food for my dogs.
6) The store CANT refund my order until they ACTUALLY get it.
7) I should have ordered from amazon with next day delivery. I wouldn’t have had to leave the house much less TWICE for the same order.
This company needs to work on transparency and follow through. I can understand if I had chosen to blow right past the alert for the 2 hour delay however none occurred. There needs to be a way to CANCEL the order AND they need to not charge the card before they fill the order.

Worst app ever

Super buggy, crashes all the time. Randomly emptied my cart right before I checked out and now won’t let me add any items to the cart. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue with this app. Just going to go to Petco and use their app instead.

Not User Friendly App

What good is an app that takes you through placing an order only to tell you your only option is to pick up your order in the store?! Even when the “cart” shows the stock is available that I want to have shipped to me, I still can’t get it delivered! Delivery shows that stock to be OUT, unless you choose to pick it up in stores! I’ve been trying to have some dog treats shipped to my home for several weeks now, but they are never available or in stock unless I drive to pick them up. BS!
The whole point of using this app is to have my orders delivered to my home. But they obviously do not do that!

Love the voiceover accessibility improvements

I had to come back and redo my rating of a simple 2 after such a horrible experience using Voiceover A few years ago. Before, I couldn’t even login because the app was not accessible at all. I recently tried because of the pandemic and I was able to log in, complete my profile And input my personal and dogs information. This is such an improvement! However, when I was trying to make a grooming appointment, I could get all the way to the place where I choose the date and groomer but once I made all these selections, that screen only had two buttons that were not labeled. I couldn’t use accessibility features to finalize the appointment. I had to call to set up the appointment and then it showed up in my account and I was able to confirm and add it to my calendar. If the whole process could be made accessible, I could give this app a 5 star rating finally.
