Big fan!!

This is my go to app for getting accurate forecasts for stargazing visibility, very accurate and far superior to some of the other apps I've tried. Highly recommend!

Very impressed

In a couple of weeks of use at two locations it's been close enough to right that I've made good astro viewing planning decisions. Thanks to the developers!

Very Useful!

I use several apps to predict observing conditions, and this one is usually the most accurate.

Great for planning!

So far, this app is great for seeing what the sky conditions look like for a night under the stars (hopefully not clouds).

Why?

The app is a slower and harder to read version of the venerable Clear Sky Clock.
The map showing cloudiness or another quantity should be able to animate without having to be manually "stepped" back and forth. I can do that on the actual Clear Sky Clock.
I thought this app would really be better somehow. It is a solution in search of a problem. Sorry.

Excellent

The app is very well done! It's professional, easy to use and provides a lot of value for us Amateur Astronomers who are planning a night out. I would recommend this to everyone who has an interest in star gazing. The fact that it's free makes it even easier to recommend; I would have paid for this! 🤓

Been using this app for about a week and I've found it to be very accurate forecasting the same night's viewing conditions.

Easy-to-read Sky Forecast

This is an excellent app that deserves a place on every astronomer's phone.
I've used Clear Sky Charts (CSC) for a long time. CSC is backed with some great data, but it is quite dated in its user experience.
For awhile now I've been looking for a replacement. I think Astrospheric is it! Astrospheric builds on the data from the Canadian Meteorological Center in new and better ways.

Useful and well made!

This app makes planning my astrophotography trips super easy. You can see light pollution maps to find a good dark site and then look up the forecast to make sure it will be good conditions. The moon phase calendar is helpful too. Would be great to get a reminder when the next new moon is coming up so I can check out conditions.
