LOVE the website, but can't add transactions

The whole point (for me) of wanting to have a mobile app is so that I can manually enter transactions while I'm on the go so I can snap a picture of the receipt and know that I have it logged and an covered. I hate carrying receipts and without being able to manually enter transactions on the go, I'm entirely left up to automated bank transactions to populate. And actually, I opted to turn off automatic uploading. It is more convenient to do it automatically but one of the biggest personal benefits of using a service like this is for me to be actively, consistently engaged and aware of each transaction and to see how that's effecting my cash flow forecast. I've really enjoyed manually entering my transactions each morning.

But DESPERATELY waiting for the mobile app to allow me to do this in the fly. The mobile version of the website is responsive and is pretty much impossible to navigate efficiently on a phone. But....I do LOVE the website on a computer!

Useless app

Pocketsmith is a great website, but this app is absolutely useless. Even a basic feature like the ability to manually add a transaction is not possible. Don't waste your time.

Can't do anything with this app!

Love the web version but this app is crap. Wish they had an app that worked so I didn't have to be behind a computer to input transactions.

Almost but not there yet.

As a general purpose budget app I guess it's good, but I'm looking for something that gives me what PocketSmith does! Forecasting!! It's not in this, it's just linked with the accounts and let's you edit the budget/set categories for the transactions.

Missing the Calender and Forecast

This app is done really well as far as design. It would be five stars with the forecast and calendar built into it. Also a search feature for entering categories. I debated whether to give it a four or three star, but I feel like it's relatively new so I'll wait and see how it evolves.

It's ok

I use the website instead of the app because of the forecast calendar. The app doesn't really have any truly useful features other than your account balances and how you are doing with budgets. If the app had the calendar that would be great.

Good so far

Hi guys,

Just wanted to say that I've been using the application since release. I really like it. The only thing that is missing for me, which I think would be priority. Is seeing and 'ok' awaiting confirmation transactions, having Touch ID prompt when the application opens (instead of having to click for it), and I would love to see an earning and spending graphs with selectable date like on the dashboard on the site.

All in all great work, keep it coming! I gave 4 stars due to the limited feature set, I'll up it to 5 when more features start being added.

Great 1st Pass

Been waiting a LONG time for this app and they did a quality job through the beta and everything. Whole platform works well, and I can't wait to see future versions with forecasting and modeling built in. Go pocketsmith!!!

Pocketsmith does it again!

Once again, Pocketsmith kicks major butt with an interface such as this one. It's clean, crisp, gets the job done and without fluff. Everything from the swift response speeds, color scheme, PIN privacy, and they even make categorizing transactions (we all hate but need to do it) so much fun.

Great job guys! As a software developer myself, I not only show off this app to my friends needing financial apps, but my devs as a great example of UI done right! If I could see an improvement it would be on the addition of the calendar forecast (my biggest hangout on the web version) but that's really it. :)
