The Solar System in your pocket

I'm a space geek so I like the attention to detail here. Every planet has been thoughfully and beautifully rendered with fun comparisons and interactions. I want to keep going.... #notjustforkids

Rocket Phobias

I honestly LOVE this app. It's something I've pulled out for two separate dinner parties to marvel over already, even if its target group is much younger than I am, I still find this a wonderful and fantastic addition to my phone that I can utilize to improve my knowledge of my celestial backyard. The best part of this app for me, personally, would have to be how little the rocket is involved. Moonraker, Apollo 13, Gravity... all these movies freak me out and I can't stand the idea of the ship breaking apart any sort of wrong way as it lands, the lack of gravity inside the ship and possibly choking on a stray floating M&M, etc. This avoids any triggers for me and I heartily appreciate it. I really can't stress how much wonderful information has been packed into this application and packaged so beautifully! Sorry if this was a bit long, but I just really love space. And hate rockets.

Beautiful App about Space!

This is a gorgeously designed app for learning about space. It does a really great job of illustrating the distance between planets & comparing their sizes/masses. Best of all, this app is really fun!

I love TINYBOP

This company is the best educational app making company I have ever known! Marco Polo makes 2nd place (I have to admit, Marco Polo is very educational and Dr. Panda makes 3rd place. Baby Bus which is also an educational company makes 4th. TINYBOP is a whole lot better than Toca Boca! Did you know that Toca Boca has gotten more inappropriate and not so educational? I like your apps. The reason why I rated it 2 stars was because this Space app didn't had much. It was educational. I'm just but if I grow up and have kids and an iPad, this would be the app I would recommend for them for homeschool. I understand why you don't have much because there probably isn't enough data about space yet. I would like it if you could add this to the space app. The player can live inside a rocket with zero gravity and that way kids can know what it is like to live inside a rocket. And another thing: the players can return to earth and kids can see how the rocket splits up and floats in the ocean and gets picked up by the people that work in something like NASA. You can do these and I think that be neat! That is if you have enough money and stuff. Thanks for your very educational apps. (Sorry if this was too long)

Fantastic interactive solar system

This app is like a great toy solar system for kids. Definitely not a game, per se, but more like a cross between an illustrated kids encyclopedia and a physical toy. Beautifully illustrated/animated and interestingly interactive. Like other Tinybop apps, this one doesn't spell out what you're supposed to do, but rewards exploration and experimantation with surprising results and easter-egg like discoveries. My daughter really enjoys this.

Stunning creative and illustrations

I was blown away by the detail. Not to mention my kid becoming totally engrossed (and learning) on our iPad with something besides a mindless game. I have since downloaded the Explorers Pack. Thank you Tiny Bop!

Wonderful learning App

Well worth spending the small amount for anyone to learn about the solar system. Great for elementary to older kids to learn something new while having fun. Had different age kids play it and all had a blast and even questioned and researched themselves on things they saw. Great to get kids app that learn but this one is fun while they are learning.

Love it!!

My nephew loves everything space related, so when this new app came out I was excited to start showing him. He was really absorbed by it and would ask me questions as he found new features in the app like the Curiosity on Mars, Juno, etc. A great app to teach kids about our solar system!!

Out of this World

This app blasts off with great graphics and lots of surprises. Tinybop excels in making apps where you learn more by exploration than by reading text and this one is no exception. You can fly your spacecraft to explore the surface features of each planet and play with different tools that show you differences between the planets. The app is engaging and the graphics are top notch. Some of the elements of the app are meant just for fun and will be enjoyed by children of all ages. I certainly did.
