This is a very good start for controlling Traeger Timberline grills. I do have a couple of suggestions for improvements:

- PLEASE save my password and don't make me login every week or so. I use this app a lot, and I would love an option to save my login permanently or at least for longer than a week.

- The interface is simplistic. Having talked over a couple of Timberline issues with Traeger support, it seems like they have a lot of visibility of what's going on with the grill, including detecting ambient temperature and other items (fan speed, maybe?) It would be nice to have an "advanced" screen that lets me see more details about what's going on with my grill during a cook.

It would be nice if they would show recipes that don't look like you need to be a fat overweight pig to want to eat. I love BBQ and have made some pretty complex flavor rich dishes but some of these images on the opening screen are disgusting. The burger should at the very least be small enough to fit in ones mouth without dump excessive amounts of sauce on you.

I've enjoyed the recipes and hope to see more. This is an excellent app

I like it but my only complaint is it's easy to accidentally hit keep warm or change temperature. If your not paying attention or checking your phone while multitasking. It would be nice if there was a lock feature or you had to hold the button for three seconds to "keep warm" . Otherwise would of given 5 stars.

It'd be great to have recent searches as a list when typing in the search bar. Additionally, suggestions based on previous searches would also be nice

What a great app for anyone that loves to smoke or BBQ. Love the recipes and now you can favorite and share.

I purchase a Texas elite 8 months ago, I like it, so I purchased the new Traeger Timberline, very disappointed, I pre ordered it early, I was the 3rd on the list so I had in time to BBQ for the this holiday weekend. I drove 3 hours round trip and got it ready and the unit didn't work, I called and they sent me replacement dan that I have to install myself and never got sent out on time so had to cxl my BBQ and lost 400 worth of food, so this weekend I reschedule and repurchased the food still waiting for my replacement and was told it will be here, well it's this weekend and it's not here and now I have cxl again the BBQ and waisted food, I called and the tracking information Traeger gave me was at the post office I called post office and well they don't have my product to pick up, I called Traeger and Jamie was not helpful, it took 7 calls to Traeger to have Jamie call me back and jeremy tried to help but very poor customer service, they didn't care that there new product wasn't working and that I had to cxl my BBQ 2 times, no help or care they just said I don't know what to tell you, it was shipped. You know how it feels to waste food and money canceling 2 bbq's and for Traeger not to make any efforts, I drove to ups and usps looking for my package because Traeger isn't any help!!! Very unhappy!!! I have 2 stars only cause the Texas elite is a good but very dissatisfied with the Timberline!!! The grill isn't what you expect...

Awesome grill, good app. Only thing missing is a way to save favorite recipes.

It would be nice to be able to print a recipe out or email it to a friend. Also, its very irritating when you say the nickname has already been used and you click the ok, you'd think it would just go back to the nickname but no you have to start all over again, 4 times. So, it doesn't get as many stars.

This app is amazing. So many great recipes and you can even buy stuff right through the app. Brilliant!

Makes my Traeger even better, love this!

I love being able to control multiple grills with the tips of my fingers from anywhere I please. Plus having the probe notifications on my phone when my Brisket hits 205 makes cooking the perfect Brisket even easier! The recipes, store and dealer locator are icing on the cake! All around great app! Thanks Traeger!

Awesome app! Love the search functionality for the recipes and that they show all of the recipes they release on Instagram. It's been really handy when grocery shopping as well.

The recipes and how to content in the app are very helpful. There are tons of recipes and it's easy to sort by type. I'd like to be able to save recipes to my profile in the future.

So far it's been great, I've been running a Timberline 850 for about 3 weeks. Initial Timberline setup took two attempts to get it on the network but it's been solid after that. Switching the grill to a new router was fairly simple as well. The main annoyance right now is that it seems to randomly log me out of my traeger account, about every other day or so.. I don't think it's ever done it while activly using the grill. The other thing it's missing is a watch complication. That's a no-brainer piece of low hanging fruit, that can hopefully make it into a future version.

Good idea but failed execution.

Fix the content. Tri tip recipe doesn't have ingredients for basting portion. Just says mix oil vinegar mustard etc. portobello mushroom recipe ends by telling you to slice potatoes and drop into hot oil

Once that's fixed this should be a great replacement for my ever elusive book.

Awesome app to find recipes quick, but you should add a favorites folder to it so we can keep our favorites in it or add recipes we would like try try.

It doesn't have a way to save the recipes so I don't have to search it all the time.

Lots of great information but no way to send it to my printer. Please add a print button.

I feel like the main point of this app was to support the new grill and the recipes were an afterthought. There is currently a problem with the recipes in that some ingredients don't show up. If there is a sauce or marinade to create as part of the dish, those ingredients are not listed. For example, fish tacos lists the fish, the rub, and the tortillas, but not the stuff you need to make the chipotle sauce. Makes it hard to use this app as a shopping tool for your dinner. Once this is fixed, it will become useful for me.

Just downloaded this app and there are some awesome recipes but unfortunately I can find no way to print them. I really don't want to be handling my phone with slimy goopy hands. It would be a five star but for that.

Just got it and everything works like a dream. This should have came out years ago. Best Grill best App on the market.

I really like this app at first look. I would like to have a page to save cook cycles without the restriction of needing to connect to a Timberline.
