This app doesn't give you any information on who's phone number you are looking up only location and carrier. They say they give you information on who is calling , but only does if you pay them to give you report, liars like all these name and phone number lookup sites.

Good app to be free

I was skeptical about downloading this app. But after trying it, I like it. It tells me exactly what I was wanting to know, their name, plus a little more. I would give it a 5 star rating if it gave a little more pertinent information, but for a free app, shouldn't complain! Thanks for good app guys, and gals!

Does work, but...

The app works well. I do get usable information!

But...

1) Some information is limited. This is understandable based on the stated way the app looks up a number.

2) Copy / paste function needs fields added, or a bug fix. The leading outgoing designator 1, I.e., 1-(xxx)-xxx-xxxx, is consistently included causing the last phone number digit to drop. It's annoying to check / fix when I forget to make note of it during copy.

This comes way too short of being useful and too close to being useless. The app tells little, but has big ad for an app that also promises the moon, but fizzles out before it gets off the ground.

The whole thing is a scam, takes up memory and is bait to a larger scam.

Well worth your time. I tried nine numbers that have been haunting me (student loan repayment scams) and it identified eight of them. Good results for this free app!

FINALLY!!

I've been looking for a service like this for a while, and am so impressed to have finally found one that works! Not sure what the one-star reviewers are doing that they're not having similar success. That said, while I have found MOST numbers yield a result, there are times when a result cannot be obtained. However, I have found that to be the case in a minority of instances. This is a really cool app.

I was squeptichal at the beginning after I tried several different apps for the same purpose just to see how I wasted my time and the worst part of all! Every time you get an app BE CAREFUL and read all the permissions you are about to give to this companies which even after you uninstall their stupid application , can use the info that got from all your personal data and stored! So is it really an ap that important? Well if it is then go straight and get a good safe paid app. But just for basics this ap is great. I looked up contact numbers of a couple worker meaning they are strangers to me therefore not part of my data. And with my co worker next toe verifying the names given and got th as all good. After that just go to Facebook and search for the name given, and you might find it interesting. This is so far my best, easy, free and fast to look up who is calling. I hope my review helps.

There was a application I had on my Android phone with the same name, but it would pick up the incoming number automatically - didn't have to enter it manually, when this one does then I will give it five stars....!

Works great

This app has been great. I recently moved to a new area and I am getting 20-30 calls a day, often from the same numbers and often no message is left. Love how I can check who has called and, when necessary, call them back and ask them not to call me. It's not perfect, but much better than most.

Started out awesome!

Worked like a dream. Then it started saying the city but no name attached. Then it went to acting like it was processing but never gave any kind of results. If it's bug fixes I hope they fix it because it helped me tremendously in the few days it worked. Giving a few stars. But will give 5 if it starts working again

This app doesn't work for me....

but I also understand the fact that you get what you pay for in life. This is just another example. I get a ton of calls from numbers not in my contacts, and if they don't leave a message, I sometimes will try to look the number up using this app. I am pretty sure it's never given me an answer...says I need to pay to get info. Duh. Having said all this, the ONLY app like this that I have ever seen work as advertised/expected is ZabaSearch Premium. Its free, but you have to log-in w your Facebook acct to get Premium, which is the only one that works. Problem is, there's no app for ZabaSearch. It's just a website. Does anyone know of a reverse phone look-up that actually works...for free? I know I'm cheap, but that doesn't change the fact I want it FREE!

Very useful

I downloaded this app when I was selling my home as a "for sale by owner" and it was extremely useful in verifying identities and weeding out shady characters. I was able to look up calls/texts then verify people were who they said they were before showing them my house.

Good Reverse Lookup

Not great....but gives you name (usually) and while it does not seem to be great with details and I don't believe it gives the correct city necessarily....(as I looked up m own, my wife's and my best friends and seemed to get the City/area where the phone "service" originates) it does supply a fair idea of the area it likely comes from. As I am just usually trying to look up spammers or mis-dials, I was happy to find something that actually gives anything that truly is "Free!!!"

The days seem to be gone when you could get details for free.

Good but needs bug fix.

I just downloaded this app and tried to copy and paste a number but it left the "1" my cellphone automatically puts in now and so didn't get the last number in the last four digits. The app says it supports copy and paste but this glitch needs to be worked out because the "1" automatically is in there now; I have no control over that, and when I took it out, the last digit was not there. Once this gets worked out, I would give 5 stars. Best app I've tried so far.

Handy

Nice app. Easy to use. Tells you if the number of the person or thing calling is legitimate. If you don't recognize the number don't answer. If the caller leaves no message then this lets you validate the caller so you can decide to return the call or not.

Great app

Before I had this app, I had another reverse phone lookup app that would only give me the city the caller was from, and make you pay a 2 dollar fee to find their name. But this one gives you everything for free! And the feedback part helped me when I found out a random caller had also been randomly calling other people too! Thank you Reverse Phone Lookup.

Disingenuous

I looked up several numbers including my own, the name was correct but carrier etc. was not even close. All other numbers provided no names at all plus carrier, state etc. which I already knew. I indicated that this app was disingenuous and that's being kind. I don't think it measures up to the standards required by Apple and should be removed from the app store or redesigned so as to actually do what it purports to do. I would not recommend.

Worked great!

My wife received a text from an unknown number not in her Contacts, and the sender did not identify herself. Knowing the potential dangers of blindly replying, I tried to do a reverse look-up, on-line for her. Every one of them ended up asking to establish an account or pay before identifying the caller/texter who they claimed to have detailed info on. I then figured I'd try an app, landed on this one, and in seconds, had the name of someone who we know. Worked like a charm, was very fast, free, and did the job! So good to have this app!

Absolutely LOVE this app!!! Have found it MORE THAN USEFUL in both Personal & Professional settings alike, PLUS I still can't believe that's it's 100% Legit FREE!!! :-D For anybody who is constantly receiving Unwanted Calls from ALL types, or for people that are persistently being incessantly bothered by telemarketers, THIS APP IS WHAT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!! I highly suggest getting this app, if you have a website with your primary cell on it, big mistake! But this helps screen calls. Wish it could add features like any social media phone number that is linked to or background info like some of the other apps out there..all in all worth the download.

Pure Junk!

If you're interested in an app that's a complete waste of time then this is the one. It not only will waste your time installing it but every time you put a number in to have checked it will give you nothing you don't already know, you won't get a name of the caller.

You'll get a city and state of the number, 2 things you already know. They build this app up to do what it doesn't, sounds like false advertising to me. I looked at my history before writing this to be accurate with the amount of numbers I've tried to check that called me, it's been 14 calls so far that I tried to check and this JUNK of an app failed to give me anything more than a city and state, oh yeah it did say from a landline. Don't waste your time with this frustrating app it should be removed from the App Store. I would give a minus 5 stars if I could not 1 star as required in order to post a review. 👎👎👎

Nothing different from a simple white pages reverse phone search

I don't know where all of these "I am in awe" or anything above a two star rating came from other them people who get credit for posting fake reviews or work for the company. This was full of a bunch of ads and you have to pay for any information other than the city that called for my particular purpose. Terrible app, wouldn't recommend!

I gave this app a C-,(3 stars) only because of the lack of updated info. The very first phone number that I tried, was my childhood phone (landline). The info would have been accurate if it didn't have the name missing a letter so instead it had {DEA as the first name, last name was correct}! Its to bad that was over 25 years ago. Rarely attaches a name to a number. In this day and age of spoofed numbers I would expect that. What is most disappointing is that when I try to get reports, there are never any presented. When I look up the same phone number on Google, I can find sites with hundreds of reports.

The only problem is that some numbers dont have names, only the town the number is located in, which is frustrating but may not be the developers' faults. Otherwise its a pretty accurate app and has been very useful.

I'm in awe, seriously.

I work for a Baton Rouge business and had gotten a call early in the morning and forgot to ask their name, though I took down some of their information - including their phone number. I spent almost half an hour on the computer trying to find a reverse lookup website that wasn't a scam and wasn't trying to get you to pay $40 for a single name that as an employee of a local business, I needed. Out of desperation I downloaded this app and the half an hour I spent on the Internet was put to shame when the client's name popped up within seconds! So tired of the internet's run-around when it comes to this kind of thing, thank you Reverse Phone Lookup!

I do like this program, it has been able to identify numbers I have had but did not who they belonged to, now I do.

It is not what I expected, I expected it to be like my landline and not look up after the fact, show me on the screen. Maybe someday, something to look forward to

While trying to perform free reverse phone lookup from couple of other apps, I was asked to pay for a premium service if I have to know the name of the unknown caller.

But this cool app gave not just the name of the phone number owner easily for free but also other additional informations related to that caller. Nicely made, intuitive app. Love this app.

This is a really nice app! Great design and very easy to use. Really nice reverse look-up alternative to all the spammy internet sites- most of which don't work well at all. This app provides all the info it can find for the phone number you put in and does it quickly and with an easy to read screen. If you keep getting calls from unknown numbers and want to find out who is calling you I recommend this app.

So far, I've tried out the app to see if it actually works (and if it gives "kinda" good accuracy), and it does, surprisingly! I've tried out 7 numbers that I know, and it works. it gave me a few of my phone numbers that i knew, but i'm wondering if itms because if my system or what. i will give it a 3 for now, will change my answer once I'm able to get more phone numbers under my bell without being asked to do one more bloody thing (so far 1- tell my friends at facebook, and 2- write this bloody message)
