It wonn't read a acsm file nor ebook

It is really an extracting information ocompany. Before you can use it, it is required for you to give them your data. Once you are registered, you can not open an ACSM document nor an eBook. Do not waste your time.

Limited PDF Functionality

This is a terrible app that almost seems retro in its limitations. For example, it does not support continuous vertical scrolling (like a web page) for PDF documents (unlike Adobe and just about any other PDF reader today). If it weren't required for many academic courses, it would likely not be used at all.

dont waste your time - this app doesnt work

When trying to import files it often hangs with a loading wheel and doesnt do anything. When you finally get it to load something randomly, it wont even let you read past a couple of pages until it just stops rendering the rest of the book. When you try to repeat that whole process of uploading the same file, the app isnt smart enough to know that its the same file, so then you end up with 10 copies of the same book, none of which work. This app is unusable, clearly full of bugs, and im genuinely confused how it has such high ratings.

The worst.

Just the fact that IT guys are forced to use this stupid platform is ridiculous. No sorting, no offline reading, printing doesn't work, online use takes 1-2 seconds just to turn the page. It's a waste of a download. All in the name of "copyrights". Just give us a freaking PDF.

Can't download ebooks for offline reading. Completely useless application. What is even the point of offering it for Mac if it doesn't do the one thing the app is needed for?

No offline reading?

After having used Kindle, Nook and various version of encrypted Acrobat files, I didn't check to see if this app supported offline reading. It doesn't, which is absolutely ridculous in 2022 (You can't read a book you bought on a train? an airplane? at the beach?) It was a mistake to buy a book from this vendor, a mistake I won't make in the future.

Offline Reading Removed

I was required to update from the KortextReader app on my Mac to the new Kortext app in order to access course material for a training class. Upon updating I immediately noticed the Offline Reading feature had been removed. This is an inferior "update/upgrade" over the previous KortextReader app as the I am unable to read course material if without an internet connection.

No offline feature???!

This is an app for textbooks and it doesn't have an offline feature anymore. That is utterly ridiciculous. So if anything happens to my connection i'm stranded?!

Pages are cut off

I’m fed up with this app as I’m using my iPad 13 inch and still the pages are cut off. The diagrams in one page are cut into the next page which makes it extremely difficult to use. Please fix this

What a crappy app.

I have downloaded on my iPhoneXI Pro. created account. Tried to login. Logged in successfully. Accepted terms and conditions. It says no book shelf or whatever message, again the Login button. Logged in repeatedly a couple on instances and uninstalled the App. The reputed universities should never encourage students downloading this app. It’s buggy. Fix the bug and make it working, developers.

Fails immediately

Wow pretty comical. Installed it, signed up for an account, signed in, and it says “sign in to manage your bookshelf”. Of course I just had signed in. Had to sign out to try again. Same thing. Kill and restart. No getting out of this loop. Uninstalled. 5 minutes of my life I want back

Book pages are not complete

The book I’m looking at has the top and left most parts of each page cut off. I would expect better from a BOOK READING app. The pages are there on the web site, but navigation is worse that way.
At least this is only a 3 day course!

Fails to download manual

Fails to download the Mathworks Matlab Manual. It eventually times out with ‘E_ADEPT_NOT_READY’ and then ‘E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN_ERROR’ error window appearing.

Audio Causes App to Crash

I use this app on my phone to listen to book audio while driving. With the update last month this function now forces the app to crash. Please fix the bug so users can listen again!
