Lights work, app sometimes connects

I ordered RGB headlight bulbs which came with two different connectors, one for the actual bulb connector and another for the power supply Bluetooth box. The setup took me a couple hours as I had to get my bulbs uninstalled on my Chevy Malibu and remove a couple parts, and figure out how to connect the power supply with no instructions.

For those that might struggle, the small red wire attached to the battery is where you attach your red wire. Same story for the negative. What they don’t tell you is that you have to cut open the cable covering the wire in order to split the wires apart from each other for it to work. Connecting to the battery is really the only main option I found besides toying with fuse boxes and adapters.

As for the app, it is very basic. Not too many colors, but you get a decent selection. It very much so needs updating and better Bluetooth connectivity capabilities.

Overall, without this app the lights wouldn’t work so it is needed. However, please consider updating the connectivity and look of the app as it needs a user interface and possibly more customizable DIY options.

Operation with 5150 whip lights

BLEDIM app. The colors are always off to the color they are supposed to be. There’s no help to work the app. And you can’t seem to save the configurations you finally get setup. You have to constantly reset up the colors and the stream you want it’s very annoying. The app is not consistent to go with such an expensive set of whip lights I purchased! And it’s the app they say I have to use. Very frustrating.

Decent App

I have to use this app for my 5150 whips and it does a pretty decent job of connecting and controlling the lights. The music part of it doesn’t work at all but I like being able to control the speed and pulse of the lights. It can be buggy sometimes but overall does what it’s suppose to do.

I just purchased this lights a few days ago, and similar to other complains— the lights work after installing but the colors can’t be changed. Racesport 5ft led light stick

Got this app for my racesport led 5ft light stick. App has really cool pre set light functions and Bluetooth works amazing every time. Love the fact I can make multiple colors run on it and even change the direction the colors flow on the light stick either flowing up or down with multiple color options. Love it!

Led headlights

The app is fairly easy to navigate for the most part very basic. An update that needs to happen is showing on the main screen somewhere if the device that’s being controlled is on or not. Me using this app to control my color changing headlights I have to get out every single time just to guarantee that they are actually off. So a great update would be something on the screen showing if the device is on or off.

Not working anymore

The app was working fine til recently where the Bluetooth won’t recognize my rock lights anymore and the lights are stuck in the on position. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and using their new app BLEDIM 2. But neither is working so I had to remove the fuse to shut them off. SMH!

Unclear when the lights are on or off

I want to know when the lights are on/off without having to get out and look. Sometimes the vibration doesnt occur when you power off.

Also , we need the option to change the fade color. It takes too long to make it manually. Other than that, the app works just fine for me. Connection issues are rare. I cant remember one tbh.

Rainbow function

The app is good needs to have a preset where lighting can fade through the entire color gamut. I know we can make our own but it’s a pain in the but and we can only select 14 colors. Whereas we should just be able to hit a fade option for the entire color gamut. Apps not bad, but this needs to be implemented to compete with other apps.

I paid big money for nicer lighting, but this app limits what I can do with them.

People with connectivity issues

For anyone with leds on their cars (underglow, wheel lights, etc) having problems connecting to the app... you have to disconnect your bluetooth to your car before you can access this app. Or do a wired connection to your car with your phone that way you can access your light functionality at any time! You can only be connected to one BT device at a time... Hope that helps.

Garbage

Initially worked fine, now the halos are stuck on one color. Developer website is in Chinese, “help” on the app also in Chinese. Lights don’t come up to connect, deleted the app and reinstalled several times. The headlights I bought were not cheap and otherwise work fine but the halos were part of the reason I bought them and this is the only app that I can use with them. Now I’m worried about getting pulled over because the halos are stuck purple. Thanks for nothing.

I use the app with my 5150 whip lights and when it comes to playing music with the lights the music is sped up and nothing fixes it. Other than that I can tolerate the app.
