You need to put the doctors name with the orders and referrals. I never know what doctor has sent in the orders. I need names and locations. Right now I can’t even figure out who to call to find out where my procedure is taking place. It’s confusing.

I am so thankful to have found (with the help of Methodist Hospital) Doctor Belmund Ray Catague for my pcp. Dr. Catague take his time and listens to my concerns/issues, he’s extremely caring.
The wait time is always fast and, the warm greeting from the front desk staff is always on point. Once in the back the friendliness and professionalism from the medical staff is always amazing.
I highly, highly recommend Doctor Catague if you’re in need of pcp. My husband (Veteran) and I moved here a year and a half ago and it’s been a roller coaster ride trying to find a doctor that cares about me.

Rude Montgomery Office

Stay at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital

Excellent care from the time I entered ER, ICU, to 7th floor. All Doctors nurses and staff were caring, patient and attentive to my needs. Not only mine, but made sure my husband was informed and comfortable as well! The facility was astounding with the new in room technology.

Family Bibe

From the time I walked in the facility Everyone spoke and I felt that family energy. My Doctor Payne made me feel comfortable enough to where I can talk to him and not be judged. I love that about him and The embarrassment feeling I had walking in his room , immediately left me. Televisit was a fraud

The doctor or nurse did not do anything during the call / made me pay my copay and did not recommend any dizziness pills or lab work when my symptoms were like Vertigo. Referring me to go to urgent care / She was just notating my chart and not helping at all. Please remove my copay.

Lower back surgery

In my 76 years of being on this earth, I have had several occasions to be in the hospital for various reasons. It sounds kind of funny to say this, but without a doubt this hospital experience that I had at Houston Methodist was the finest experience I could be experience. Every staff member that I had the pleasure of meeting or receiving their services and I do mean from the people that clean the room to the surgeons and nurses and nurses aids were suspiciously pleasant. It seemed that they couldn’t find enough to do for me and they made my stay so much more Comfortable than I ever expected.

Message medical team physicians

I find it difficult to get a message to my medical team Of physicians at will. Especially if that physician has yet to leave me a message or results or inquiry. And when reminded of an appointment it would be convenient to have an option to reschedule, cancel and or verify an appointment.
For the most part my chart is good to review results,
I have left an inquiry to an established physician, but it’s not always available to do so. Sometimes it’s greyed out to “ Reply”
Can’t schedule an imaging appointment on my chart only by phone and they are so busy good luck with getting someone on the phone. I think my chart could be more effective and efficient if improved

My opinion

These ppl don’t care about anything but payments, I get threats that I’m being turned over to collections. I’m tired of doing y’all’s job to get money from the insurance companies. Customerservice sends out a email how good of a customer you are. Then tells you your past due on the bill. All they see is 20-80%. My situation is cancer, I have cancer insurance. Use it!!

Useful despite terrible user experience

Lack of goal oriented design makes you search around and click random icons until you find what you are looking for.
Lack of task awareness - doctors or nurses have to define “todos” in plain text in messages with hyperlinks to complete paperwork or set reminders to call to register for procedures.
Many other “UX 101” missed that could be easily addressed and drive huge gains in user satisfaction and minimized failure rates.

ER visit 12/2

I went to the ER on 1488 and Kuykendahl on 12/2 the staff was excellent from the gentleman at the front desk to nurse Krystal, Dr. Kasper, Shania, and Rob the CT tech. They are great assets for your organization and you should be very proud of them. They were very professional, courteous, and delightful and made my visit bearable. They informed me that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was , thankfully. So thank you for having such a great staff in your 1488 location.

I downloaded the My Chart App on my phone to keep track of my 84 year old mother's appointments and I love it. The app keeps me up to date with her appointments, medication, and doctor notes and comments. I can make appointments, get reminders on medication refills, and pay for visits on the app. I just love it so thumbs up!!

I moved here to Texas in January 2023 and was in search of a doctor in the area. I had chosen a doctor but he didn’t compare to mine in California. While getting my hair done one day, I ran into this young lady and was telling her my story and she introduced me to Methodist. We exchanged numbers so that I can get some more information. She ended up referring me to Dr. Ferdousi, one of the best decisions I’ve made. She is on top of my health, very tentative, and provides great care. I just want to thank her and her staff. I speak very highly of Methodist and have sent several referrals.

After stay review.

The Methodist Downtown is awesome. They have always treated me professionally. They answer their call lights in a timely manner and meet a patients needs in a timely manner. Not to mention their Drs have saved my life multiple times. Dietary needs a little work making sure new admits and their guest get trays. I have a hospital 7 miles away but I choose to go downtown because they are the best of the best.

Reception

The ladies in reception are not very friendly. I was on time for my appointment but because she took her time checking me in and telling me that the deductible hadn’t been met(which by the way, I am so sick of hearing that) I had to step away to call my insurance to verify. The attitude of the girl was awful. I drive 2 1/2 hours to come here for my appointments and for them to dismiss me like you’ll have to reschedule. Then she said the 7 minutes had passed and that it wasn’t until they got payment before I was considered checked in. Well she could be friendlier, she could greet people with a smile, and if she dislikes her job that much, she should find something ese to do! When it comes to healthcare, we have options, where I live not so much so I followed my pcp here, but if this is the way I am going to be greeted every time I come, I may consider looking for a new pco with a staff that cares about their patients. They are the first contact and granted this has been the first time I have been treated so callous. Perhaps they could benefit from etiquette training.

First let me say that my care at Houston Methodist in The Woodlands has been wonderful and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. And would encourage friends and family to go there!
I only have one small problem with Getting on MyChart. When I get a text that I have a message and there’s a link I can click on to get me to my MyChart and all I have to do is put my password in, which I do, it won’t take what I know to be my password. Very frustrating.
But I have no trouble getting in when I click on the “M” app on my phone and put in the very password—that I know is mine. No problem getting in. Don’t understand it and don’t know if it can be fixed but if there is I’d really appreciate it!

Methodist Hospital

Methodist Hospital has the best people working there. I’ve had health problems for years, I’ve seen many Drs over the years, and honestly, I didn’t find any relief until I went to Methodist Hospital. They have saved my life/health more than once.
I know there are other hospitals around, however, I won’t go to any other than Methodist. They truly care about you as a person and a patient. They understand your pain and need for help.
They are truly Angels.

I called Methodist and the person who assisted me did a wonderful job, I wish I remembered her name. I had called a healthcare group before I called Methodist and didn’t even get past the person that was there to make the appointments. I ended up hanging up and crying in frustration. So, yes Methodist is wonderful. I made a trip to the ER, Methodist Sugarland, as far as ER trips go, it was top notch. Checkin was quick, initial triage, even quicker, got in a room quick, all in all I was there for about 3.5 hours. Did CT scan, chest X-ray, bloodwork, fluids given, round of antibiotics given, applicable medical assessments done. All the staff was friendly and professional they were even joking around with one another, nothing over the top, just pleasantly working with one another. Nice atmosphere to be a patient and an employee from what I could tell. There was an incident with an other patients’ family member that I couldn’t help but overhear, she was frantic and upset and the staff member assisting her listened and said yes we will do this now without the slightest hesitation or annoyance coming through in his voice. Overall very pleased with my experience with Methodist.

Dr. Hart/Angela

I live in League City, and travel up to Methodist, near Conroe, to receive health care. It is worth the time, energy, and travel expense, to be able to get the excellent care from Dr. Hart/Angela. They are very experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate in their jobs. As a retired female Marine, we say, “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it.” I have been given the opportunity to go to Methodist near my home, however, I know what kind of care I’ll get with Dr. Hart and Angela, so I’ll stick with what works well for me. Dr. Hart would have made a great Military doctor, a no nonsense type of doctor, to health care and her profession and keeping her clients/patients in the best health as possible. Semper Fi

Level of care

The level of care my parents have been receiving is exceptional. The entire teams are amazing. Very glad that my parents are with Methodist. I myself was just transferred to Methodist because of our positive experiences with doctors, nurses and office admin.

No return response

It’s hard to get docs to respond to txt. Like I was told by a neurosurgeon if I had migraines from my neck it’s an emergency. Then he did surgery to relieve those “migraines” last year. Well they are back. And I txt my Neuro and no response yet that was Sunday this is Wednesday when is she going to respond. I was told that this is a life threatening emergency. It’s better I can lift my head off the pillow and talk now but that’s just wrong to Lea e a patient hanging

Absolutely love it!

MyChart is a great tool with quick access to everything. Scheduling appointments are done easily as is sending a message to my Physician or their team members. Test results can be viewed, all the paperwork done in the office can be eliminated by simply keeping personal information updated through MyChart. It is easy to use, absolutely love it. If you haven’t signed up for MyChart you should try it out.

Overall good but reporting bugs

MyChart - food services
Under the food options for diabetics, the salad dressings located under starters and not condiments so you can choose only one. You can get a salad but no dressing. Even if your point value is low. You can even just choose a salad dressing and get that without a salad. Move salad dressings to condiments. Salad dress tends to be 1 to 4 points so you’re allowed to have dressing with salad under a diabetic diet. When they were calling my order in I was allowed that option.
Requesting doctor
Under requesting a doctor appt, it asks if you know the doctor. When you choose yes the option is there but grayed out and you can’t choose. When you choose no, the option goes away. You are forced to choose no under requesting doctor by name.
Feedback form
Does not submit. After hitting submit it removes some answers and says you need to answer. But you can’t answer. Also another submit button option pops up.

Dr. Ondo

My husband has been seeing Dr. Ondo for over 10 years and we have been extremely please with the care that he has received. Communication with Dr. Ondo is excellent! He responds very quickly to messages sent through My Chart. He is a very knowledgeable and compassionate doctor.

Simply The Very Best

If you need a cardiologist that is experienced, well trained, and is caring too then Dr Aslam and his staff are it. Add to that he has all the latest equipment in the profession.
Whatever is needed he has it all at his institute. You won’t be sent to another doctor because Dr Aslam can and does it all.
Twice now he has put stents in my heart and did it so well I went home the same day. He has put in my heart a pacemaker.
So this is from someone who has been there I know how important a decision to go to a cardiologist reallly is. Dr Aslam is the very best. Thanks

Double charged.

I was helped by a very nice woman for my ear infection. The doctor was not the problem. I stood in line for a Doctor Sandy and the app shut out in the middle of me waiting after I paid my money and I had to redo the whole process multiple times and until I got a different doctor who answered right away. I was also charged for the visit. Now I understand why you had to charge me for a doctor I seen but why am I being charged twice. For that. Y’all get a one star from me.

Dr. R. Aslam

Having lived on five continents and having racked up a lot of “miles” on my birth certificate, I am pleased to say that I have finally found a doctor extraordinaire. Dr. Aslam is the best there is! She combines the diagnostic/analytical knowledge base of an expert with the application of exceptional people skills. A rare combination.
It is very apparent that Dr. Aslam cares deeply for her patients. Even though I am a relatively new patient, Dr. Aslam effortlessly demonstrates a strong understanding of my medical history in having recommended specialized tests for my heart. These tests have proved invaluable in better understanding my overall heart health towards evaluating “best practice” options going forward.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Aslam. She is top-notch in every sense of the word and Houston is lucky to have her.

Dr. Kathleen A Watson

I’ve had many extreme medical issues requiring multiple brain surgeries and spinal surgeries performed by Dr. Todd Trask in the Med Cntr., my primary care Dr. Kathleen Watson is such a compassionate Dr. who takes time to listen and is never in a rush. Recently I received a text from her on a Sunday afternoon and I could hardly believe it, She was working from home following up with me on some bloodwork, Methodist healthcare is by far the greatest healthcare available. Such a blessing to have the best care in America right here in greater Metro Houston. For those of you who are on the northside up near Conroe/Willis, I would highly recommend Dr. Watson, I’ve never had a female Dr. but that’s irrelevant when it comes to the best of care. Dr. Watson is outstanding located in the office building I am League Line Road, Methodist healthcare.

Frustrating And Long Wait

Just downloaded this today. It kept logging me out at ever step. I could not complete account registration. Every time the settings window would pop up for camera and microphone allowance it would log me out. The settings link wasn’t working and I would have to try the process all over again. At least it saved the info prior to logging me out. Once I chose a physician she had 1 patient waiting. I was on hold for a very very long time. I gave up. I was feeling too fatigued to drive to Next Level urgent care but that may be a better option. So much for convenience. Worst experience. BTW using on iPhone 8 Plus iOS 12.3

Dr. Ware

I have gone from specialist to specialist trying to figure the things wrong with me. Some doctors can’t help me but Dr. Ware is amazing. She always takes me and help me with anything that’s wrong, plus we work together to figure out what’s wrong with me to help “fix me”. It’s that personal touch and extra time she takes to help me with whatever’s wrong with me, which is why I feel she is the best.
