Great tool
This tool has simplified taking records in the field, even when I can't get an Internet connection. Only drawback is I can't use the application itself on my PC. Update not accessing the tool on pic has me not using it anymore

I'm new to beekeeping and this is a great tool for keeping track of hive conditions and the to do feature helps keep track of upcoming tasks.

Useful app for keeping notes
This app has been useful to me for tracking my activity in my hive. I'm just getting used to the app and probably haven't made good use of all the capabilities of it, but just having an easy journal to log my inspections in is great.

What i wanted !
Had another app first , it worked a few weeks and then I couldn't use it till i paid a $50 fee , since i had entered all my info on starting my hive they had me . Wrong !
So .. i found this app and no fee !
Took a bit to figure it out but its just what I wanted in the first place !

Great app for tracking what is happening in hives. Really like the syncing feature, and that I can add photos.

Can't do anything app just closes when you try to do anything.
Update: app is working. I need to sit down and enter everything
2nd Update: Finally got time to enter hives, inventory, and use it when inspecting hive everything working good. Starting to like this app.

Great except for the latest update
App is fantastic for a bee journal. Easy note taking with everything you need built in. Worth every penny. Developers respond quickly to issues (I've only had one after an update and it was fixed within a week after I rated it). I highly recommend this app, as a new beekeeper it has been very helpful in letting me know what to look for on inspections.

Love the app
I have several hives and this app helps keep me organized from the equipment on hand to the honey I've pulled. The best part is the quick hive inspection updates. A quick review of my last inspection and I have an idea what to expect and plan what to look for. A must get for new keepers.

Great app so far!
I have been using this app for a few weeks now and it is definitely helping me keep track of my hives. I tried to keep a notebook and write everything down last year but this makes keeping records so much easier and quicker, pull phone out and add an inspection record to the hive your working, beats the heck out of carrying a notebook around to do it. I found the map that shows your apiary(ies) and the forage area to be pretty neat. The ability to add pics of each hive is very cool and the ability to add a picture an inspection is a great feature too.

Bugs, bugs and strange changes?
I wanted to add a quick note to show my appreciation that the developer reached out to me, responding to my concerns. I think the color issues are now fixed. The disappearing images can be explained by the way apps behave in iOS on the iPad and iPhone in general ... an Apple design approach(?). I realized that pictures no longer show in the app because I moved all my "old" pictures from the CAMERA APP to a PC so my iPad wouldn't get bloated. I don't like this design approach, I expected my BeePlus images to stay put once I applied them to the hives, and to what I consider to be a database, but if there is no way around it, well, it is a bummer. Thank you for clearing it up.

I just returned to the app, 8 months after my last review to check my bee notes and see how the hives had done over the winter. Last year, when the version update wiped out my pictures, I was disappointed enough to write the review, then I invested some time to redo all 15 hives with new images. I relied on those to identify hives etc. Guess what I see as I open the app. New version, yupp, ALL my images are gone, AGAIN, and now some of the section headers use white on near white beige just to annoy the user and render it invisible.

John, you seem to have introduced some bug(s) with the latest update. Images now are replaced with stock photo if I review or update a record. It happens often but not all the time and it is very annoying to have to hunt for the pictures again. Also, a robust backup and full database dump would be a huge improvement and would elevate this from the toy category to a useful apiary tool. Otherwise I have to live with the nightmare of losing all my data and observations which would drive me to find another tool. Also your website would be more professional if the contact page would't throw back and script disabled error essentially rendering all your apps unsupported.

Fix the inventory
I love this app in almost every way. It does a great job of organizing your whole operation. That said, there are some flaws I would like to see fixed. First, my inventory list copied 8 items and reproduced about 500 blank listings for them. I managed to delete them all, and they reappeared the next time I opened the app. The map is also a little wonky. The interface for creating a hive and adding its coordinates does not work. You have to pick coordinates on the map and then create the hive. It also does not project the foraging circle around each hive. Only at the first hive you create.

Time will tell!! So Far, So Good
My husband and I are new to bee keeping and I just downloaded this app (without reading the reviews) & I put our apiary & hive info in, along with some notes. So far, I think it is awesome! I sent an email suggesting some selections for new installations of packages/colonies/hives. Other than that, so far, I really like it!! Upon writing my review, I read some other reviews & I am a little nervous about loosing my info but, if all I loose on updates are my pics that is fine. I just don't want to loose the IMPORTANT stuff like ALL the notes and dates! We are taking a class on beekeeping and I am going to tell everyone about the app! Only time will tell exactly how I feel about this app but, as of right now, 5 stars!!!

This app has everything. And they upgrade along the way. I highly suggest this app. I keep track of all my hives and swarms and even the backyard bees. Especially when placing hives in the country.

Great app for the beekeeper
I currently have 6 hives that I move to different sites throughout the year and I wanted to be able to keep track of which is which and what was going on. After a few weeks I was amazed at how often I looked back at previous notes and inspections and was able to get valuable information that I wouldn't have remembered or confused with another hive.

Better than HiveTracks
Had paid for a year if HiveTracks but just found it complicated and very easy to lose all you just typed. (Also, won't give you ANY refund on the year you've paid for).
Bee plus seems to be just what I need and just had my son to d/l BeePlus and we function together with an apiary at each of our houses. We synced our phones and Bam!! We had each other's info. I love this app, its wonderful that it's not a monthly charge (which would keep me from using it).
I highly recommend it.

Love this app!
Great tracking tool with photos to help with managing multiple hives. Wish that there was a corresponding website for quick entry, and the ability to print off things, but very happy with this. I prefer over hivetracks

I'm very happy with this app. It was cheap and has all the functions i need. You can track your finances and inspection information. Notepads are a thing of the past.

Great updates
Wonderful update. Lots of great additions...finances is a great addition. Hopefully the sync issues are fixed. I have not tested it but it looks to be improved.

Good but needs work
This has a lot of good features, but when the data for the hive is exported, the notes are eliminated. The heading cell for the notes is there, but the notes, themselves, are not exported with the rest of the data.

The recent redesign is nice. Data entry is relatively easy but ui has a learning curve. Would be nice to have a web interface to enter data on a regular computer.

Exactly what I was looking for
Excellent app. I am a new bee and appreciate this apps thoroughness, intuitive design, and simplicity. It the ultimate would be cloud sync with a web portal as well, but that costs money to implement and I realize and appreciate the intent to make this accessible and low cost (as in free). I will be supporting the development of this and thank you for offering in this way.
