Description
WSwitch is an app to control your Belkin Wemo devices from your iPhone, Notification center and Apple Watch.
You can turn On or Off any device and dim your LED Bulbs.
You can also turn On or Off all devices by pressing a button.
You can also create and control groups of devices.
The app is compatible with:
WeMo Switch
WeMo Insight Switch
WeMo Smart LED Bulbs
Wemo Maker
WeMo Light Switch
The app can search your local network for devices or you can add devices manually with IP.
To use the app you have to be connected to the same wifi network as your WeMo devices.

Stability has been achieved !
Every time I touch the app button and open this program it starts and displays the switches clearly showing on or off. And when I touch a slide switch to change a wemo device the corresponding switch works perfectly every time. I would like the switches to be a bit bigger but enjoy the stability of the program.

People will go to any length to defraud the public. If you search carefully you will find the Belkin branded app you are looking for. Just don't buy this; the OEM is free!

Review
The app works fine. The only problem I have is it takes longer to turn the light off then just turning the switch on the lamp. Have not tried when away from home.

Pretty much worthless device!
I purchased the Wemo Switch recently, and so far it is ludicrous as it will not connect to the network, even though all of my WiFi signals are secure and very strong and have been in place for over 10 years and currently run 6 laptop, iMac, MacBook Pro, iPhone devices without any issues (except an occasional stutter of signal before it goes back to normal). I have networks that the laptops & iMac connect to and another for the mobile devices, so that traffic can be better allocated, etc; and when devices are removed from the office for meetings and field use then returned to the office they automatically seek out their proper network. No problems.
Something always seems to be a problem with this piece of garbage, I have tried myself (I setup IP networks, maintain servers and much more for my business, and do quite well with 15 years experience), have had others try as well and this junk still does not connect properly!!!
When I buy an Apple product and plug it in, it works properly... well not the Wemo!
I tried taking it back to BestBuy, although the managers there will fight you on returns, as they just want to sell stuff but not stand behind them when things just don't work! That is why I try to only buy from online companies that are reputable. Apparently Wemo and BestBuy don't fit into that category...
AS PER USUAL, BEST BUY DID NOT STAND BEHIND THE SALE OF A WORTHLESS & UNWANTED PRODUCT BY A PAYING CUSTOMER (that has a Best Buy Business Pro type of account that should get a bit better level assistance than being treated like trash at the customer service counter), but like I have said before BB has yet to actually stand behind something.
Well, this is it; BB has crapped on me for the final time, all accounts... business & personal for this dump are being closed and I truly hope that they go bankrupt asap!!!
Companies like this one should not have customers, unfortunately there are always stupid people that will walk through their doors each & every day even when they treat paying customers the way that they consistently do.
Good bye and good riddance to a worthless american company, you truly demonstrate what this country is all about!!!

Light switches
On IPhone works great and cost nothing. On IPad cost me but only able to turn lights on or off. Unimpressed! Happy with the phone, just thought IPad should do as much.

Works as described, despite many negative reviews
Despite all the negative reviews, the app works as described without any setup fuss. With first launch of the app, all my WeMo devices were discovered and functional without any additional setup. Perhaps the key is to first setup your remotes switches (bulbs, etc) with the propriatory WeMo app before using WSwitch. The iPhone app has a "must have" feature not available on the proprietary WeMo app: "all on/all off". The same individual "off/on" and "all off/all on" functions are also available on the Apple Watch app and function flawlessly. The interface is simple and limited beyond those two functions and could be more attractive. There is no proprietary WeMo watch app from Belkin to compare.

Semi doesn't work
I cannot get the switch to work at all. The App doesn't provide good instructions. So far I have spent about two hours trying to get this switch to work without any success. I guess it will go back into the box!

Useless App
App only allows you to turn switch on or off and nothing else (like remote access or programming for random switching). Also you must change your wifi to their WeMo wifi in order to access the switch. A very disappointing app!

i purchased this product and it won't work. tried reaching technical support and nothing against foreign help but oh my, i spent minutes giving name and email and only to find out i had hit the wrong number. i tried twice and had same experience. i tried getting info on website and for a tech company the website isn't helpful either. flashy looking products but that's it. when will these companies copy the NEST instead of recreating the wheel.

Why did they make the switch so hard to turn on and off. Flick it and it flips the page. Their are a few bugs like that to be fixed but the product is awesome. Heater light TV and soon crock pot on a different switch. It handles a good load.

Not worth the money
I ordered this, and am sorry that I did. It cannot find the one, and only WeWm link, even when I enter the IP into the system. Absolutely not worth downloading until the programmers find and fix the problems. Then, maybe. Until then, good luck finding a bot that runs the WeMo products.

This app works as advertised. The customer support was on point. I asked a dumb question and got a prompt and professional response. I got this app because it works in the lock screen and has neat features such as all off and all on I have many devices and can control them with ease. Thank you.

Light switch
This thing is pure junk. I've tried to set it up and so have both of my son's. It is supposed to work with Amazon Alexa. It has its own wifi and will not even set up using its own wifi. The light will come on then it will kick you off until you go back into the APP. This is a not buy.

Do Not Use for Setup!!!!
This is not the app for setting up your Wemo Switch device. Look in the upper left hand corner and you will find a 'For iPhone' text. Click on this the search for Wemo app. The official Belkin Wemo app is FREE!!! This app is a waste of money! I would give it zero stars.

Not worth the money
Just on / off. No added features such as energy monitor for Insight. No control or monitoring of Rules. Just run WeMo app on iPad until something better comes along.

Works fairly well. Still room for improvement.
Have used it for about a week now and from a speed and reliability standpoint it has definitely outperformed the Wemo app. I also like the added feature of being able to group devices, something the Wemo app doesn't do. The fact that it doesn't work outside my network is no big deal. You will always need the Wemo app for controlling devices outside the network, creating rules and adding new devices, but for around the house, this app is what I use.
I should also mention that there is Mac based app made by the same people that functions in a similar fashion.

Didn't find any of my wemo devices after repeated attempts on both IPad Pro and iPhone 6s Plus. But the Belkin Wemo app recognizes my devices just fine..

Not bad, but not great either.
Seems to be a little buggy with controlling my Wemo bulbs, works great sometimes and other times it doesn't. Hopefully future updates will fix some issues. I really like the fact that a widget is included so that I can control lights right from the Notification Center. This app has a lot of potential.

Exactly what I am looking for from Wemo, that they fail to deliver. Glad WSwitch stepped in to help.
Those complaining about switch dimming don't realize that feature dictated by the Wemo device. Not the app. If it isn't showing, it's because your hardware doesn't support it.

Very fast, but limited
Very fast, but you have to be on the same network as your WeMo devices. Devices display in alphabetical order with no way to rearrange them, a huge flaw.
