Photos are underexposed

When I send a signal from one device to another and then trigger the camera to save a photo it always saves a horribly underexposed photo. How do I get it to adjust the exposure time to get a well balanced photo the way the actual camera app does?!

Can you please the change the icon for the robot factory by tinybop, so it does not have the eye on the robot?on the icon for the app? Dad won’t get the app if it has the eye👁. It creeps him out. Crashes constantly

Looks very intriguing, but on my iPad Pro it crashes every time I try to interact with a machine. No idea what the interactions are suppose to do because the app won’t run long enough to explore it.

Absolutely Amazing, I love logic gates:)

Absolutely amazing, can’t wait to see this brilliant app evolve into a game creation station. as a logic guy I have a few suggestions that I believe would easily make more advanced logic easily possible. Please consider making...

1: nodes easier to grab, And easy to remove.

2: logic gates expandable (default 2 but more than 2 inputs possible).

3: timers and counters resettable through a special reset node. (Make it red perhaps)

4: timers and counters able to count up or down.

5: copy and past feature (say you made 1 flipflop circuit but you need 4 of them).

6: larger build area with greater zoom

7: floating editable notes.

8: resizable square touch censors and resizable square color lights. (For game making).

9: analog values possible (1-100) from battery and timer?

10: community: create, share, heart, vote... I know you have allowed started on this but keep the community involved as much as possible please :)

Two star Review

I found this app to be a two star app. The reason why is I think is could have bin more instructions on things such as how to use the camera. Things like an microphone should be labeled on how to use it in different ways. I found this app tiered and boring I think there could have been more colors with soft music in the background. I don’t think this app was worth the money. In my opinion i think it should have been a 99 cence app.

Great early visual programming game

Thanks for the response. I was able to get the game running on my old iPad by updating the OS. The game is s great way to introduce children to programming concepts and logic in general. Highly recommended.

Very Cool!

I really like everything about this app. It's clean, and a pleasure to use. I also think that the little machines can be for older kids, too. It's a ton of fun to build a REALLY complicated machine, and to just play around with it. I love the text-talk thing. It's just really cool.

Who the heck knows

Ok...I may just be an ignorant granny but I have purchased this app and have signed up the grandkids and myself because it just keeps asking for profiles with no option to move on until it's full Then I was asked if I like or not so far (I have not even seen the app yet. I said I liked it because I was hoping it would be over.....nope...have to say I loved it! Then I privacy policy that goes on forever.....meanwhile.....my granddaughter is playing mind craft on the other iPad. I am ignoring her and writing you. Not good! I will try to get back to it but now...I am playing mind craft.....

My kid figured out how to use the app before I did and made a machine that said, “Hey chubby baby guy” every time it detected a face. LOL funny. They don’t say this, but this one is for adults too.

It was working great then it stopped.

The sound is buggy which means that all of the fun sound doesn't work. I figured it out so I could show it to my daughter and she was thrilled. When I left her alone with it, the text talker stopped working. She thought it was her fault but it was the program. Earlier I had to restart the iPad because the sounds for a synth experiment of mine would not stop playing.

Once my kid gets out of her bath she is going to want to play with this again, and she's going to be angry.

Definitely fun. Definitely buggy.

Transmit/Receive capability doesn't work reliably. U may have to close and reopen the app or delete and replace ur transmitter or receiver to see the other in range devices. Annoying.

U should be able to mix sounds through an "or" gate, but it gets confused and only plays one of the two sounds regardless which is powered.

I could go on and on.

Like littlebits for the iPad

My kids like tinkering and I we’ve been playing with the little bits to make machines, this is like turning the phone into a bunch of little bits (sensors, cameras, buzzers, lights and so on). Really fun to play and not just for kids.

Color picker does not work

Has been pretty fun; however the color picker will not change colors. There is not an obvious way to report bugs or get assistance on the developer's site. Also, I understand this is an open ended app, but I think users would benefit from a little more instruction on how to use the various elements- the manual is not really helpful at all.

Awesome, but...

This game is awesome but thee is one problem (-1). Every time I press a color on the color detector it doesn't work please fix this I have an iPhone 5c IOS 8.4.1 and it doesn't work. Overall, it's the best.

Amazing potential some big bugs

This app has incredible potential!

But there is 1 HUGE bug and one serious bug.

Huge bug is that saving often does not work: it gets stuck giving name and color. There is no exit from this page. The x closes that view, shows full menu but then trying to open the saved file again just reopens the view for setting name and color. So there is no way to go back to a saved file and edit it.

Serious bug: Transmitter/receiver blocks often don't signal. This is a beautiful feature but it fails 50% of the time so improve connection.

Both of these bugs are very demoralizing to kids when they occur especial not being able to go back to saved file.

So please fix asap and then you'll have something fabulous

9yo loves this app!

I am nine years old. And I think this game is awesome! This game is when you make machines with all the imagination you want and you make these machines with everything! I made a machine that changed my voice into a chipmunk. I made one where I connected a machine from my iPad to my brothers iPad--I used voice recognizer on my machine and it started a switch on my brother's machine.

I think you should always use the music synthesizers. So I think this game gets four and a half stars!

Make no mistake, this app can do some pretty genius things. Manipulating the functionality of your cellphone and tablet devices is pretty obnoxious. It's true tho, that understanding functions beyond the seemingly obvious, isn't as easy to comprehend its possible purposes😎. Anyway, somebody, anybody start a forum.

Widget Workshop

I bought this app with little hesitation, mainly because it reminded me of an old computer game called Widget Workshop. The basic premise is the same, and many components (the RGB light, logic gates, sounds and speakers) are shared as well. There were also puzzles where you had to use a limited set of components to accomplish a specific task. I still have it on CD-ROM!

One component that was in W.W. but not this app, that the latter would definitely benefit from, is a "selector"- a component that pipes one of two inputs to a single output, depending on the value of a third input. (In function-ese: f(x,y,s) = x when s is false, y when s is true.)

Nearly Flawless

I think this app is very high quality as with all Tinybop's other apps. However sometimes the sound from a design will play in the select project screen. My favorite part of the app is that it is an extremely simple system so anyone could understand. One upgrade that I would like to see is connectivity to Simple Machines to make electric bike, pulley, etc.

Deepest Tinybop app yet!

My 7 yo daughter loves this app — as do I. We are big Tinybop fans in our family, but I think this one probably offers the deepest opportunity for play and exploration of any of the yet. It’s similar to those modular electronic kits for kids that let you design circuits out of lots of different pluggable components — but in this case, you’re plugging together the sensors of an iPhone/iPad with simple and complex logic components. It’s crazy powerful for a “toy” and should keep an engaged child interested and challenged for a *long* time.
