I used this tape, High Focus, and Brain Massage in the 90's thru my MBA , JD, and bar exams with great success. Afterward, my father went hunting with a psychiatrist from Mayo Clinic who said they used these in practice with great success. I love the brain one that helps build brain synapses. Used with good results after being a passenger in a car hit by a drunk driver at highway speed, head-on. Used in hospital and during acupuncture.

I don't have ADD, but I am a law student and do not find the noises distracting. I use it to study and I l think it helps block out other noises. Not a miracle worker though - you still have to think. :)

I'm a med student and I don't find this helpful to study to at all. There's too much going on - sounds keep coming and going. They are distracting. I bought this b/c I love the hemi-syn "concentration" which is pretty much just white noise. This is really different - I do not reccommend this at all.

I have ADD and, needless to say, have a lot of troube focusing when I'm trying to study. I heard some good reviews about this recording so I decided to give it a try. It is very soothing and calming....seems like a lot of white-noise. I listen to it on my headphones while I'm studying and also before I go to sleep at night. Maybe I just want to believe that it works...or maybe there's really something to it. All I know is that when I am listening to it and studying at the same time, I have a much easier time focusing my mind to the subject at hand. I'd recommend it to anyone who has similar problems.
