I love all panic albums but I have to say this is my least favorite. Although I like a few of the songs, none of them really stick out to me. Also personally I think all the tracks sound really similar, and they're not extremely creative, just pop with a twist. All three previous albums were much better as well as death of a bachelor.

Amazing!!! :)

I freaking love Panic! and I absolutely love this album. This Is Gospel, Miss Jackson, Nicotine, and Collar Full are some of my favorite songs on here. This album you can both cry to but also get lit asf to which is great. This album is a masterpiece just like Brendon Urie.

Probably my favorite songs on the album are Miss Jackson and The End of All Things. The End of All Things is amazing but the album version is nothing compared to the live piano version Brendon did. He screamed like an angel. 😝

First, Panic has never had a unique sound. Putting A Fever You Can't Sweat Out next to Pretty. Odd. And next to Vices and Virtues, we are given different sounds; this equals to the point of saying they have unique sounds. Secondly, for all of those who don't keep up with the group, Panic has one member only and then a crew he hired to play the instrumentals at concerts. So yes, Brendon Urie worked alone and hard. Third, BRENDON URIE WORKED ON THIS ALBUM HIMSELF. He deserves the credit to which we all thought was an end to a band because Spencer was the last one to leave. But Brendon continues to release music and I hereby say that he is amazing at what he does.

I love this album but one of my favorite songs is Miss Jackson sadly I can't listen to it because it messes with me. In the music video when Brendon kills Miss Jackson there is silence and a sword slice but that is gone and instead there is someone talking idk if anyone else caught it but I'm sad about it.Other than that small thing it's amazing

10/10 yo. Does not dissapoint, and it gives you ALL THE EMOTIONS. I highly reccomend Collar Full and Vegas Lights, they’re such great songs and they're really underrated. Fun fact: "The End of All Things"'s lyrics are Mr. Urie's wedding vows. "Miss Jackson", "This is Gospel", and "Girls/Girls/Boys" are all catchy anthems you won't want to stop playing. All the other songs are truly exceptional, and *this band is the best*. Be sure to listen to their, I mean, HIS, other albums!

how can people expect a certain sound! The whole point of the band is to be different and go in any direction they want. And I've never heard a song that I didn't like from them . So if you want an artist who does the same thing and never changes and gets boring go listen to someone else! There is no other band that is like this that just keeps getting better and better!

Is this album more "mainstream" than AFYCSO, p.o., and v&v? Yes. Does that make it any worse than those albums? NO! This album is amazing, and still has those special lyrics that only P!ATD can give us. 💖👍👍👍

Since when has panic! had a 'distinct sound'? They are known to experiment with sounds and styles. Maybe this album is a bit more indie electronic? Maybe pretty. odd. is a bit more classic rock? Maybe AFYCSO is more 'emo'? Maybe DOAB is a bit more 'pop punk'? This album is impressive and incredible on so many levels.

I love Panic! At the Disco, a lot. I was enamored with A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, and it's still by far my favorite. It's amazing to see such a transformation from their first album to this new one - and for that ability, I give them props. I appreciate the more classical elements they used - accordian, cello, and other instruments that aren't utilized often. For that reason, I find it hard to listen to their newer stuff because they used to have such a unique sound, beyond just Brendon's voice, now they sound like various electronic and alternative bands, and it's a little depressing.
I do still support them, but I'm not really interested in but a few songs on this album.

The first two songs released sounded like the Panic! at the Disco I loved then the rest came out and it sounded like a techno/dubstep artist was featured in them all. I was so mad cause this isn't what he played the album out to be. The first two songs use like real drums and vocals and the rest is like edited vocals and beats. Disappointed for waiting patiently and excited for nothing.

there were three ingredients that made Panic work. the guitar, the lyrics, and the voice. all we have left now is the voice, which when Brenden sings these generic melodies and lyrics just sound like a bad fall out boy knockoff. with "Pretty. Odd" they blew away naysayers with fantastic lyrics, melodies and arrangements, but with Ryan gone they don't have anything left to offer but more slickly autotuned drivel. this is just a Brenden Urie aolo record. give up the name, release stuff as a solo artists and stop sullying the PATD name. because it's over

I've been listening to Panic! At The Disco since before they were big. I grew up in Vegas and remember hearing about this up in coming band who crazy great vocals and lyrics that personified Vegas in a way that only natives would understand. Here we are four albums later and lots of things have changed but the essence has always remained. Brendon's voice will, for me, remain one of the driving forces of this band. He is emotional and passionate and theatrical in all the right ways. Despite missing Ryan's quirky and creative lyrics, these songs are still clever and great. I will never be disappointed by Panic! and will continue to love each new side I see from them. Keep your heads up, guys. You are still inspiring me.

I want to like it so much...

The first two released singles were so good, but I don't like the techno/synth sound that Panic has evolved into. Brenden's voice is wonderful without all the computer sounds, and this album just didn't cut it for me. I definitely appreciate their ever-evolving sound, though. That takes guts.

I have absolutely loved everything PATD has done up until now. I think that with the exception of Miss Jackson and This is Gospel (awesome songs, definite standouts on this album) a lot of the meaning and interesting themes/lyrics has been lost. Also, this album is far too synthesized for my liking. If you're into electronica-type music, you'll definitely be way into this album. It's worth looking at, but I am really disappointed with how this turned out. I've been looking forward to this album for months, and I've really been let down by this change in style. I get that they change their sound every album...I'm hoping they go back to a more raw sound next time

It's perfect

I have been a Panic! from the birth of the band and I loved the first album, second and third album. All albums have a very different sounds but a reason I love this band is they have transformed with every album…what I perceive to be them challenging themselves and their norms. Although this isn't what I anticipated after their last album, it is good. It has a more electronic sound that Panic! fans are used to…I respect the decisions made by the band and in true Panic! nature I assume they did not put out an album that they felt didn't represent the band and this moment in their life. I love Panic! at the Disco and always will…can't wait for the next album to transform again.

Incredibly disappointing

I've loved Panic! since their first album. I saw them live more times than I can count, and I've stuck by them through every change they've been through musically. But now? I'm just straight up disappointed. I understand that artists change and grow, but this album is so vastly different from the unique and quality sound I've come to expect from them. In my opinion, there's very little substance to it. It's also missing that certain spark that made the last three albums so interesting. And, I don't think it reflects any sort of personal growth for the band. If anything, it almost seems lazy on their part.
Also, I don't like how Panic!'s image is suddenly all about Brendon. Don't get me wrong, he is a PHENOMENAL l front man, but isn't this supposed to be about a band? Not just the attractive guy who sings in it?
Either way, I'm gonna pass on this album, even though it breaks my heart.

Newish sound, but fantastic.

Not going to lie, at first I skimmed through the songs and wasn't too fond of how electronic is sounded.. Then I gave each and every track a good listen... and safe to say I'm now obsessed. Yes I'll admit it's a bit different than what we were expecting but my god is it fantastic. Some songs are dark and deep but still make you want to dance around. I'm obsessed. Kudos PATD. Favorites: Nicotine, Casual affair, Collar Full. (Along with This is Gospel and Miss Jackson of course.)

One thing I always loved about P!ATD is that they were able to incorporate new age technology with classic organic rock that molded into a unique P!ATD sound. Even with all of the bells and whistles and what some may call "Overproduction", there was always a well composed organic song underneath that included the incorporation of both computer generated sounds with musical instruments. Fever seemed to blend those 2 very well, Pretty odd leaned more towards the classic sense of song composition and Vices and Virtues leaned more towards the other end of the spectrum, I loved all 3 albums and found them very creative. From what I have heard, with it being just Brendan right now (who is an incredible musician and vocalist) seems to have lost that organic feel, that sense of grabbing a guitar, sitting at the piano and writing a song. The tracks here seem to me that they were all produced on a computer. When P!ATD toured with Fun! and released "C'mon" it seemed they were maturing into a well rounded group of musicians. So, in my opinion, this is really disappointing. Thats too bad, cause Spencer and Brendan are really good at what they do, I just hope they don't continue down the bubble gum snappy pop music that seems to be on this album

No.

Panic!'s new album does not showcase Brendon's voice the way it should be. Plus, Brendon has this idea in his head that Panic! is his band now and he's very mistaken. Brendon needs a reality check if I'm ever going to enjoy his music again.

Nope. Doesn't cut it.

Since the album hasn't fully released yet, I can't entirely write a review on the whole record. Judging from the first two songs, it isn't going to be too eventful.
Panic! At The Disco was a great band; especially at the start. They've now adapted to our modern pop music and created an album that is NOT worth listening to. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out was absolutely astonishing. There were a few songs on that album that I didn't particularly care for, but for the most part it was a success in my book.
I came in with high expectations hoping i'll find another album like that (Why would I bring my high expectations with me when all the music today sounds the same? Four, four time, electronic drum beats, synth, simple piano phrases, and auto tune?). These songs did not meet my expectations. They drove me off. In fact, I might go crazy if I have to listen to another pop song dubbed "Alternative".
I'm so used to the orchestra playing and adding on to their great tone, but now there's repetition within the songs. The music is the same throughout; the lyrics are the only aspect of the music that changes within these songs.
Overall, I feel like I have wasted my time listening to these new Panic! songs. I honestly don't want to put in the time to analyze the lyrics or study the chord progression. It's all the same to me. I just wish these guys didn't have to conform to the modern music industry.

I have been a long time fan of P!atD, and as a fan, you know that Panic! has changed their sound EVERY album. You cannot say that they are "old" Panic! or "New" Panic! seeing as they have never been consistent enough to gain such a title. Now that is not a bad thing for every album they have produced has been absolutely amazing in it's own way. With that in mind, Panic! has always kept a certain quality in their music that made it distinctly them.
From what has been shown by this album so far however has sounded distinctly Fall Out Boy, as if they were written together, which again isn't necessarily bad for they are a great band as well. However, when I listen to P!atD, I don't want to be listening to FOB. Maybe Panic! is trying out their fourth new sound, but it is too close to the band that they are currently touring with.
These songs that have been shown so far are fun, great listens and I personally love them, however they (specifically Miss Jackson) seem to be missing that distinct P!atD quality. Yet, never judge an album by it's singles for the rest of it can be completely different (Light 'em Up didn't sound anything like the rest of Save Rock and Roll)

I was nervous at first when this album began to release that Panic would become a sell-out band the way one of my other favorite bands did on their most recent album. I don't know how I could ever have thought that about my number one favorite band, but they sure proved me wrong. This album is fantastic! I'm not going to judge this album until I've heard the whole thing, but I love Miss Jackson and This Is Gospel. Some people are saying that their new singles don't have Panic!'s "sound", but since when has Panic! had a distinct sound? Is Pretty. Odd. and A Fever You Can't Sweat Out the same "sound"? No. So you can't expect this album to sound the same as the others. That's not what this band is about.

Enough said. I've been a Panic fan since I was 13 and I've grown up with this band. It's definitely the only band I would preorder for because I know I will love them till I die!

Once we lost a member of P!ATD, we [us fans] we're all kind of wondering what would happen to P!ATD. But then MISS JACKSON feat. Lolo was released and I knew that P!ATD wasn't over yet. VICES & VIRTUES is...an immensely amazing album I just love to pieces. So, TOO WEIRD TO LIVE, TO RARE TO DIE is something I am looking forward to with a bunch of anticipation. THIS IS GOSPEL is way too good.
