Bon Scott was a true original. His vocal style, raspy and screechy, set the tone for the Punks who followed. When he died, it wouldn't have been all that unexpected for AC/DC
to call it quits. But what did they do? They soldiered on, hired a new vocalist that while as raspy and unusual a singer as Bon, was still his own man and hardly an imitation,
then went on to record not just a monster album, but the best album they ever recorded. To this day, "Back in Black" is still their masterpiece and from the opening notes of
"Hells Bells" gives you chills. While it can be truly said that AC/DC have yet to record a bad album, they've never been better than this. And "Back in Black" is still in the top
ten greatest hard rock albums, even after all these years. If you only own one AC/DC album, let it be this one.
