This is a timeless classic, reminds me of my childhood growing up, and as I listen to this track, Is like watching my childhood during this time when i was coming up. They don’t make music like this anymore. And none of the remakes can touch the original.

One of the best and most underrated artists to come out of the 80s music scene, whose songs have been sampled by so many people it’s ridiculous! A must have for any fan of 80s music or just any music fan.

Great compilation. I used to jam to these when they were on the radio and I have tickets to see them in New York. July 2021. Fantastic duo and they owned the 80’s!

A sunny and enjoyable album, incredible songs

Being a teen in the 80’s was made even better by listening to these two gifted artists!! Now, at 52, I listen to them and am quickly transported back to my bedroom where my turntable was located on a wooden shelf stuck into the ends of two concrete blocks. ( that was the thing back then) There, I sat with my headphones over my ears and my Love’s Baby Soft sprayed on my pillow, and dreamt of a boy to sweep me off my feet one day. Hall and Oates still blasts from my turntable and now my IPhone. I listen to them as I dream of someone to come and do my laundry for me or just clean the house once a week for me ! You can’t do wrong with the classics and these two fellas are just that! They, along with their music, age like a fine wine. Wine? Well, sure, I’ll have some !

Amazing album, but it does not contain “She’s Gone” which is my favorite song by them. Also “Rich Girl” is very quiet for some reason.

Honestly, I can't tell the difference in sound quality between the VH-1 I purchased a while back and this one and it is not worth the additional 10.99 to add the missing songs.

This album is one of the best albums out there!

Awful, awful, super trebley sounding tracks. Thought it was just the previews, so I bought a couple. But no. Cannot listen to them.

These songs take you back to when music had feeling and songwriting was perfect. The music today can't compete this kind of music, you can hear the passion in these songs. One of the best albums ever

Along with their former RCA label mate singer-songwriter Grayson Hugh and singer/songwriter Christine Ohlman, Hall & Oates write and perform some of the best blue-eyed soul songs around. This collection is a great one!

Brings back a lot of great memories

I've loved Hall and Oates since I was a little girl. This album of their best songs is wonderful. Even if I only liked a few of these songs it would be worth it. This is a goldmine of music when it used to be good and worthy of wooing a woman! I miss the good ol days. I still bop my head to their music when I hear it and I'm out and about. Good stuff! Good stuff!

Great album

Hall and Oats are incredible songwriters and artists. So underrated. Brilliant songs and melodies. Amazing vocals. The new artists of today should be making music like this (if they even could) LOVE these guys !

I own the original cd of this album and it was and is my all time fav album since day one. Don't trash something that u think u know everything about but don't.

Hall and oates is always good

Last night, this album was $7.99. One of the pairs of singers on The Voice performed a Hall & Oats song during the show last night also. This morning, the record is $10.99. Coincidence? I think not.

Fantastic collection of songs from this dynamite duo. This collection has all of the great radio hits and a few I actually have not heard. Great stuff!

Hall and Oates rock!! Nothin else I'd rather listen to on a warm summers eve sippin a cold one!!!

I'm not ashamed to say that hall and Oates are one of my favorite bands. And oh man, whenever the synth drops on "i can't go for that" you know I be gettin down! " Sara smile " is probably my favorite of theirs. But for some odd reason it makes me want to cry. All in all, this band has so many great hits and I love them.

I never realized how may great songs this duo put out until you hear them all on one album. They have a really great body of work!

I was born in the 60s so I got to see and hear a lot of classic music by some of the greatest acts in music. These two were apart of life for me whether at the beach or at the club you were bound to hear the sound of Hall and Oats where ever you went. Now in my forties Ipods have replaced records, cassettes, and CDs. A lot of the soul is missing in todays music but the one thing that is not missing is their music in my home or in my car. I love it more today than yesterday. I own a lot of their music but a lot of their music owns a piece of me. Love it,

I personally love "Rich Girl", "You Make My Dreams", "I Can't Go for That" and the thinly veiled laugh at President Reagan, "Out of Touch". The other songs are easy to listen to, fun for the most part, and feature some of the great licks of the 80's. Daryl Hall has, as many have said before, an extraordinary range and is "the best white soul singer alive" (not my words, but it fits).

This is a nice compliation. If you have serious favorites, you'd be better off buying 2 or 3, but for $9.99 I think you would do okay with this minus a couple you probably would never listen too. And H&O never go out of style. 20 years later I can still pump them up on my iPod.

Wow, I really like this album. I never knew that they did so many of the songs i listen to and like! I'm definitely not from that generation, but then again i like a lot of older songs! haha buy it.

Their songs remind me of my childhood. I've seen them in concert twice within the last three years. "Method of Modern Love" is one of my all time favs, plus "I Can't Go for That..."

Hall & Oates is a really good band from the 80's my sugestion is if your gonna buy a song buy You Make my dreams

This collection highlights the strongest work Hall & Oates recorded for R.C.A.. None of their sides for Atlanta, namely "She's Gone," and nothing from their post R.C.A. association with Arista, which would become part of R.C.A. appears here, all of these songs except for "Adult Education" which is supposed to be a 12" inch single but is an edit, are full length versions, for the full length "Adult Education" refer to "Rock & Soul Part One."

This cd is a chronological collection of singles, the disc is filled to capacity and very well mastered. For the casual fan of radio pop this is an excellent collection, for the die-hard this serves as a good reference but doesn't contain a cut rare enough to peak interest.

Good album, but the best one for the H&O fan is call "Looking Back". It has almost all of the all time favorites. Wish I could find the audio from the Bravo show called "Musicians" when these guys were on it....what awesome versions of these songs. Some songs transend through situations in time...This album is not just full of enjoyment for me, but transend through my ups and downs in the 80's...I Love this album! Thanks H&O. U guys were the best in the 80's, and still are....The RAM....

These two are talented. A ton of these songs are good and great to listen too. I have the whole album already! Buy the album! If you don't want to the songs I highly reccomend are Sara Smile, You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling, Kiss On My List, Private Eyes, I Can't Go For That and Family Man.

I love everything these guys put out over the years, but my all time favorite song by them, "She's Gone" is not included for some reason. Bummer.
