Carly's voice is smooth as silk. The lyrics she rights seem to be as if she knows what you are thinking or going through. Blending softly & sweetly harmonics. 10 stars!!!!

Many female singers today offer over produced redundant beat loops and plastic sounding vocals.

Carly Simon's music is raw talent beautifully crafted from the heart into infectious music.

There are some great comments here. It warms my heart t see younger people recognize greatness, vs. the insipid no-talent drivel by the Top 40 'electronic music" flakes, Christina Aguilera, 'deep thinkers" like 50 cent, Lil' Wayne, ad nauseum.

Sailmd hits it right on the head. Of what he speaks requires talent,and lots of it. There's a real lack of it nowadays. Doug

I'm 19 I've just discovered this wonderful artist I love her and all the songs on this album

What a gifted artist. These songs take you back to not only good memories and dreams of our future but we acted on our beliefs unlike the current generation who feel they "JUST DESERVE" things by their parents. I think sometimes I will scream if I hear "they didn't respect me" one more time!!RESPECT IS EARNED KIDDIES.

Still one of the gratest testiments to how beautiful life was before politics.

I've never been a big fan of any one of Carly's albums in particular (with the exception of Hotcakes) because I found the filler songs to be kind of dry. This collection, though brief, really does pick out the main highlights. It has my two favorites by her, You're So Vain and Mockingbird, also. It sounds great on vinyl, just got it the other day!

So great to hear these early hits. How few have mastered all three parts of a song: Compose it

write the lyrics and then perform it. For one person to have so many

such compositioms with so many hits puts her deservedly in the

realm of the lengendary talents.

I had to play each song for 30 seconds, and after each song I thought, "Man this is still a great song!" How many singers out there can do something as good as this...listen to "Legend in Your Own Time," "Anticipation" or any other song...this is a fantastic album.
