Bought this album last year before seeing them perform it in concert. Different twist to the Christmas season than your typical Christmas carols. It's a great album with awesome sounds but the music cannot be done justice without seeing the live show. The concert experience will blow you away and you'll have a lot more respect and appreciation for the musicians and the talent they have. But more fun to be familiar with the music before you go. Looking forward to what they come out with next!

Downloaded song not realizing it was mis-labeled on the on-line station I listen to. Very disappointed in recording...this is not my "style" of Music (especially Christmas) and found the Trans-Siberian Orchestra "sound" very irritating...like fingernails on a chalkboard. Guess free-style acoustic guitar is just not my thing.

I bought this song and when I tried to play it, it didn't work. I deleted it and tried to buy it again but wouldn't let me. I was highly disappointed.

Just saw them for the second time last night at the Verizon Center. THEY TOTALLY ROCKED THE PLACE! Kids, Adults young and old can get into the music. Simply have to appreciate talent. They make Christmas ROCK!

These guys are my favorite! They are amazing!

I love TSO! But I am SO disappointed that they don't have any of the girl singers? the woman that sang oh come all ye faithful was the most talented vocalist and she did not make the CD?

I just got to see them live and words cannot describe how amazing they are. If you are tired of hearing the same Christmas songs over and over again, then please check TSO out. They take famaliar songs and rock them up. Faith Noel for example. Another thing is they make up their own songs too. So its not all "the same stuff."

I just went to a concert yesterday and it was amazing what they do. Their songs are so fun to listen to!!!! I would give this 6 stars!!!!

Ironic title, I know. Anyway, do you know how sometimes "o holy night" and "jingle bells" get kind of boring after a while? I find that even though my family still plays these classics, I get to get a break from them when we listen to TSO. These musicians are talented and creative, and give your favorite classics (o holy night, jingle bells, and many more) a rock vibe. While than may sound uninteresting and wrong, they do it in a way that accents what the classics really mean while interesting some of the younger, teenage crowd. They're fun, fresh, and a break from our (well respected) classics. Overall, give them a try. And you may, like me and many other people, still be listening to the instrumentals (using them as lullabies or comic relief) in June.

I have listened to Tso for about 5 years less or more. They make these songs come alive and even though I have never seen a concert of theirs this cd is the best Christmas music in the world I have ever listened to! My cousin was the 1 who got me into their songs and I don't regret it! Even though I have not brought any other of their music I would love to exactly get into their music! I love them and if you have only listened to their other songs don't forget these ones!

We saw them live last Christmas. I have loved this band since I saw their movie, the Ghosts of Christmas Eve. I love Canon Rock, to hear it live is amazing. Even my husband was blown away by them. True meaning of Christmas!!

Haven't downloaded music in a long time, but the minute I heard this instrumental Wizards in Winter I was blown away. Amazing sound.

When I was little I called wizards in winter the finger song.

Just saw them last night and these folks rocked! Wizards in Winter gave me goosebumps. Would highly recommend adding TSO to your holiday music rotation. Give yourself a great gift and go see them live!

TSO they all I listen 2 on my iPod and I have a lot other tso songs tso sooo awesome that I have alot other artists song that I barely listen 2 :)

Like said above, this album is almost perfect. All the songs are stunning, simply said, it's quality music and well worth paying for. The only qualm I have is the missing part of Anthony Gainer, the narrator (I do believe that the correct name) The narrative is absolutely riveting. Perhaps it is available, though not to my knowledge.

Christmas Canon Rock make this album IMO. Wizards in Winter and Wish Liszt are great.

This is a great CD. It is recorded well. There is no or very little noise on loud high notes. Bass is well defined. Vocals have presence. Seeing TSO's live performance is drop-jaw amazing. I saw them during their 2009 tour - nearly 3 hours non-stop music. They played some songs on this CD. Christmas Canon Rock is memorable because I could feel the keyboard low notes. This effect is difficult to obtain with the CD, but it's possible if you use a big amp with big drivers. Even so, the CD is enjoyable to listen to and it tells a warm-fuzzy Christmas story. This CD has a high goose-bump factor - especially if you've seen TSO live.

I saw their show on the 26 and it was incredible . their music is simply fantastic. Some of their songs sit on th edge of elegance and insanity. they have completely turned christmas music into something exciting and fun to listen to.

Notice how only one person actually disliked TSO on this review board while dozens went on and on about how spectacular this band is. I saw them play a couple weeks ago and it was by far the highlight of my christmas season. TSO belts it out with Siberian Sleighride and Christmas Jam. Please check this band out. They deserve so much more credibility.

Holy crap! this is the best symphonic band ever! thier music is amazing, so are thier concerts. WIZARDS IN WINTER is the best song out of all thier awsome songs! this is the only real christmas album. GOD BLESS AMERICA! oh crap I said GOD!!! merry CRISTmas!

I saw these guys live for the first time a year ago and I had to buy an album. I bought this one because of it's popularity with the other customers, and let me tell you, that was by far the best choice cd I've ever bought! They just amaze me with their harmonics the lights the drama....I love it all!!! So much fun to listen to. My favorites are Christmas Dreams, Siberian Sleigh Ride and What Child is this for the amazing shift in song at the very end. If you want a brief escape from the cheery Christmas songs, pick up this album. Back to a reason is probably the darkest song on there and completely un-christmas sounding but it's so good!!!!!

I love this band during the holidays. Their show is a must see! I would also check out The Forton Project.

I love the music that these guys make! I do know people who don't like them because they do covers a lot, but I can't get enough of the style. Not good for people who like straight classical, as voiced by earlier referenced and first reviewer Kyle, but somehow good for people who like straight rock and modern Christmas carols. By the way, I am in sync with the people who mentioned Webber. I thought it was Webber when I first heard it.
