Stop Making Remixes

 –
bs176257
 –
2008-05-31
First, if you're gonna make a greatest hits album, use the original songs. This album has the great songs that Biggie made (original) but once all these remixes with artists just kills it. Its not cool. Let the real song be remembered, not 20 different remixes with new verses from new artists. Its dumb and Diddy is just killing a great artist's work. The idea of the album is awesome, but choose songs that were the originals on Biggie's albums when he released them, not these remixes Diddy thinks are good. Diddy is a washed up nobody who makes his money doing this to other people's work and trying to make bands through reality television. No one cares Diddy go live in a hole with Britney Spears. It would be best for everyone

You cannot knock on why the album has been put out, but rather look at the material on the album. It is classic material from the most classic MC. I would rather buy six different Biggie greatest hits albums, rather than most of the music that is being put out today.

Somehow I'm Thinking That Diddy, Puffy, & P.Diddy (aka: Mr. Back-up One Liner In Every Bad-Boy Song) Has Completely Overdone It Here! Is This Album A Joke? I've Had Every Song On This Album For YEARS! Why Can't Diddy (Or Voletta Wallace) Seriously Go To The Vault And Bring Out Some New (OLD) Stuff? 2Pac Is Still Coming Out With CD's And He Has Been Long Gone Too! Here's My Advice: Don't Buy This Album, But Do Download Every Notorious B.I.G. Album Ever Made! It's Worth The Price And There Is Better Music That's Not Included On This CD.

I am a big Biggie fan, but when you put out old song after old song on many cd's it kind of waters Biggie down. Don't get me wrong I'll always love his stuff, but long story short, Diddy screwed this album. If you're going to get any Biggie songs, I suggest just buying Ready to Die and Life After Death.

I didnt buy this album but the only reason its out is so Diddy can mkae hism oney since "Press Play" sold very badly since he cant rap or sing or anything. he uses Biggie to fill his pockets. dont buy this just get Biggies origianal albums

DO NOT GET THIS ALBUM

 –
C Matth
 –
2007-03-25
Whatever you do, don't get this album. It's simply a release from Diddy because he's due for another pay check. If any knowledgable rap fan was out there, he would know to just cop Ready to Die & Life After Death rather than this album, because the other two have all of these songs already, plus more. The other thing that really pissed me off about this CD is that it's called "Greatest Hits," but it doesn't even have Sky's the Limit, Victory 2004, Spit Ya Game, or Everyday Struggle, which in my opinion, are the four greatest Biggie songs of all time. Don't get this album. Trust me. Get Ready to Die & Life After Death instead. Don't forget to get those singles I mentioned earlier as well. As for Diddy... that fool needs to just get over himself and stop trying to get money off of Biggie's genius musical mind.

Stop Complaining!

Listen, this album is the Notorious B.I.G. at his greatest, and te people who say "Diddy stop making Biggie album's" and "You're Kiling a Legacy" need to stop complaining, becuase Itunes isn't a place for that, it's for you to rate the album and go on with your day. Great album, and if you have more B.I.G. album's bring em on. I'll buy em.

OK, now we all know Puffys a money crazed arrogant selfish sell out. We all know Nasty Girl is a disgrace and shouldnt be hear.We all know that Diddy is tarnishing Chris's image. But thats old news.Ima talk about the positives.
Biggie is the best.Ever.Juicy is a classic song, with one of the greatest hooks ever.Hypnotize is sick.Big Poppa, I mean how cant it be awesome.Notorios Thugs is awesome, along with BTNH's soulish rhymes. The One More Chance remix is awesome, and I honestly like the beat more than the original.Get Money is great, so is Warning.Notorious B.I.G. (the song) shouldnt be on here, because it wasnt really good and he didnt make it while he was alive. But, Dead Wrong is awesome, I mean cmon how can u hate that song?Ten Crack Commandements is one of my fav. songs by Biggie, and the two new tracks, Want that old thing back anf Running Your Mouth, arent terrible, but Im against post-death releases. But, the very best song Biggie ever made is track #9.Who Shot Ya.One of my favorite songs ever. Not only did it have one of the best beats ever, but he spitted it hotter than hes ever on that track. Also, sadly, it really started the beef between Pac and him, which resulted in both of their deaths.
Biggie is the best ever.R.I.P. Christopher Wallace, Frank White, Biggie Smalls, The Poppa, The Notorios B.I.G.

STOPP!!!

Biggie is G.O.A.T., but this is a bad compilation

Here are the REAL Biggie greatest hits:
First, his five best songs:
Kick in the Door
Unbelievable
Things Done Changed
Hypnotize
The What ft. Method Man (great chemistry between two legends)
And his other best songs in no order:
Juicy
Big Poppa
Warning
Notorious Thugs ft. BT&H (Fantastic beat)
Dead Wrong ft. Eminem
You're Nobody Till Somebody Kills You
Brooklyn's Finest- Jay-Z ft. Biggie
I Love the Dough- Biggie ft Jay-Z (Besides Method Man, Jay-z was the only rapper who didn't get shamed when working with Biggie)
Ni**as Bleed
Dreams
Gimme The Loot
Everyday Struggle
In Conclusion- the Notorious B.I.G. was the best ever and you will probably be best off just buying Ready to Die and Life After Death. If you don't want the CDs, this is a good intro.

anything with biggie's name on it is as good as it gets regardless of what diddy does to it, Biggie will always be the greatest rapper of all time and his records should always deserve the highest rating possible, everyone who knocks this album isn't a real fan.

This cd has alot of Biggie's best stuff, but some of his greatest work is missing.
Check out Ready to Die; one of the greatest albums ever, then listen to it the whole way through. Then you'll realize how good B.I.G. was. Also, listen to Hold Ya Head from Duets.

Biggie...

 –

2007-03-07
I mean, Biggie is one of the best ever, no questions asked, it's just some of the songs don't really belong here, like Nasty Girl. Also, Mo Money isn't here, and neither is It's All About the Benjamins, both of which had impact in the way people listen to music. So it's a 4 because a lot is right, but missing out on those two songs is a big mistake in my book.

This is a great album because it is a collection of the greatest songs by the greatest rapper of all time... The fact is: Biggie was so incredible and all of his songs were so consistant that you are better off spending the extra money and purchasing "Ready to Die" and "Life After Death." You will enjoy every track on his only two albums, two true masterpieces.

This album may not have it all but it does have a lot. If you have ever wondered why his death had such an impact and is still in lyrics today buy this album. His ability to make lyrics flow is unbelievable and I have never heard an equal. This album features many of BIGGIE's classics along with some new material. The song "Want That Old Thing Back" features Ja Rule and Ralph Tresvant. The only problem I have with this is too many have featured artists. I want pure Biggie and only Biggie. It's not like the album before this (that one had about 2 featured artists per song) but at least 7 of these feature other rappers. Still a great Greatest Hits album. The first three songs are some of the greatest rap songs ever. "Unbelievable" is a great track as well.
