I always forget how much I love Ratatat. But they never fail to put me in a good mood. Amazing music that needs no lyrics to keep my attention.

they say songs take you to places you've been. define the the places you are. but until I listened to this band I didn't realize how much lyrics dictated what I felt. these guys are truly great at writing a soundtrack for life. not sure if that's a good description...but it's the best I got. try any song. I'll bet you buy more.

Took my a few listens to appreciate the music but after I realized that it is genious, far ahead of its time.

I love Ratatat, the live shows are amazing as well.

What surprises me the most is why "Kennedy" isn't one of the top sellers!

Great song, all of them are just great tunes to listen to and relax or get up and jam.

After a first listen, you might think "Whoa, this is cool, but I wish it weren't quite so repetetive." The iTunes review above is rather flowery, but it's spot-on. To really understand Ratatat, you have to listen to this album from start to finish, paying close attention to each delicately crafted harmony, following every soaring synth line to its climax. "Ratatat" was groundbreaking…"Classics" is transcendent.

This album is one of of the best electronic albums there are. With much influence frmo hip-hop and rock, Ratatat moves off the course of mainstream dance and electronic, making a much more complex sound

No Need to say anymore. This album is awesome. Just simply awesome. My only complaint is that there isn't a remix album w/ a sultry singer laying some vocals... Classic is a classic nonetheless...

This album is so good. Crazy, kitsch and yet funnily sentimental. The soulful beats that remind you of the 80s, but also has that modern electro edge. All they need to do is release their catalog in iTunes Plus and my wallet will be out!

I'm totally not a fan of electronic. I LOVE THESE GUYS. I cannot stop listening to them. I wish I heard of them sooner. This group is so creative..they make every song different and keep them true to their sound at the same time. The best on the soph CD: loud pipes, lex, and tropicana.

I stumbled over Ratatat the other day, and immediately bought this cd, which definitely did not disappoint. I highly recommend it, because of how unique it is, and how catchy the songs are.

Ratatat is sure to make it onto the big stage someday soon 'cause they are so amazing! They have the great ability to combine so many dif. styles of music into one sick album! I think that thier best song is Loud Pipes but I also like Gettysburg and Wildcat.

Never heard anything quite like this band. Have one of the most distinguishable sounds of any band I know. Sounds GREAT too. Anyway, just wish they had made Nostrand about 10 minutes long, because that song sounds sweet but its so short. Wildcat is the best, by the way. As in, the best song ever. yeah.

i love this album. One of my favorites, EVER. if your friends or whoever tells you about this band and you want to check them out, buy this whole album. It's amazing

I have to say that I was skeptical at first (no vocals, electronic-sounding) but I am pleasantly surprised. I love this stuff, and find myself listening to it all the time.

It is a pretty perfect album. It has depth in instumentation and themes, so they are not just two guys who can play their guitars well. Each song, or piece as I prefer, is quite perfect and provacative. Wildcat is a gem, Lex a hit of sex and danger to the chest, Truman introspective. The album is a rare work of art, ageless and every time you listen you hear something new. Buy it!

This album is def a classic

yesterday i was at my best friends house. His older brother asked me if i wanted to listen to some music when i was over at his house, i said "ya". And he put on Ratatat 'Wildcat'. IT WAS AMAZING!!

I'm really impressed, it's one of those bands you won't get bored with, one of those bands where you buy their whole discography and hope they come out with more!

Came of this artist by recommended, turned out to be one hell of a song "Seventeen Years"

I can blast this music if I am working out at the gym, hanging out with my friends, joy-riding in my car, and basically any purpose you fulfill in your life. If you want a song to listen to whenever and wherever and enjoy it, Ratatat is the way to go.

Loudpipes and Wildcat. It's simple. Buy them.

This album is a must for all mechanics, students and craftsmen. working to this music is the best ever. you can listen to it when the work gets boring (i.e. sanding benches or writting that stupid essay by tomarrow) but you can also block it out when you need all the concentration you can get.

Ratatat has an amazing array of moods within all of their songs on this all-star album. My personal favorite is Tacobel Canon because of the variety of chord progrossions within a single peice. Close behind are Crips, Wildcat, Loud Pipes, and Lex. They are so diverse with their music and always have appealing tunes with sumptuous flairs abound.

In all honesty, this album is one of the most incredible pieces of music I have ever heard. They have been my favorite band since the first time I heard Seventeen Years which is off of their first album. I didnt tell anyone about this band for six months trying to keep them a secret, but this album is too amazing to not share. I recommend buying or downloading all of their music, but if you are just looking to hear a song or two, i would suggest Wildcat, Loud Pipes, Nostrand, or Lex. All great songs. Enjoy

They have succeeded in something that is very very hard for most bands (except The Beatles, Nirvana, Daft Punk, etc.). They've created a new sound. I suggest Wildcat and Loud Pipes. Also, go to their first album (called Ratatat) and buy Seventeen Years and Germany to Germany. Your ears will shatter with awesomeness.

Pretty much the most legit album ever

ratatat blew me away with the sounds that they produce it is simply one of the most awe inspiring music NO lyrics lets you decide the mood of the music. If i think of listing to ratatat i have to listen to the entire album its obviously a good purchase

Ratatat has really come into their own with this album. It's an all-around, solid 4-star album. Every song is listenable. Songs from this album consistently pop up on my "Favorites" lists on my iPod. A really solid album, worthy of your money. This album is going to be played (among other fun, electronic music) at my wedding reception next month.

This is perfect chillout music. Each song is so beautifully done that it resembles a sort of modern day classical music, if you can imagine that.

Worth more than 10$, but it'll have to do for now.

I never thought I would find instrumentalists who were this amazing. "Tropicana" sounds like a cross between Sgt. Pepper and the National Anthem.

I can honestly say that every single person I have introduced Ratatat to has loved them. They have an outstanding ability to transcend genres and moods by blending intricately tweaked guitar riffs with grooving bass and snappingly fierce beats.

Ratatat is my happy place. They can be yours too if you buy this.

Discovered Ratatat this past year, and possibly one of the best groups I've ever heard. Reminds me of Daft Punk, but a little more of a regular rock style feel, but there is nothing quite like them out there. This is a great album and fully deserves the 5 stars!
