From start to finish this is an amazing listen. The band as it sits today is well represented by this album! There could always be more Jeff 🎷.

How did this guy ever got a recording contract ?This guy is awful. He is not a very good musician. Take some lessons, do some listening. Some so-called “Rock’’ being put out today is just horrific !

I'd heard about half these songs live and liked them all, but it's so interesting to hear the studio versions. My favorites so far are Madman's Eyes, The Only Thing, Break Free and It Could Happen. Can't wait to hear them all live, which is always the best way to listen to DMB. They are always amazing live and these will be great additions to the shows.

I've listened to the album fron to back 3x now. I really want to like it, but I can't fully commit to saying I do. I'm all for a band evolving and/or trying new sounds, mixing techniques, etc. I don't buy into the critics bashing Dave for working outside of the box so many have put them in. There are some decent tunes here, but no real flow on the album as a whole. It's good background music, but nothing truly stands out.

I am an avid, dedicated DMB fan and have been for 20+ years. My first listen was, admittedly, a bit meh, though I absolutely love the mix for Walk Around the Moon. I went to both shows over the weekend and kept listening to the new album in between and it has rapidly grown on me. Each song has specific, deep meaning, if you’re willing to listen for it. Looking for a Vein is classic DMB deep meaning, reflective, mortality stuff and beautifully played.

If you’re on the fence, I get it. Keep listening. It’s a beautiful album!

I didn’t know if I really liked it, but the more I listened, I find that I do. I miss the horns of the previous albums, but we all evolve and a band can and should do the same.

It's like when Dylan went electric in the mid 60's and people lost their minds. The simple truth is when the artist of our youth grow older with us, they change too. DMB continues to be engaged and write great music. LIke Dylan, they continue to test new sounds and ideas as they grow older. They're journey is totally different now than in the 90's and it makes sense that it would reflected in their art. If that is an issue for someone, plenty of of classic rock stations to listen to. As for me, I'm enjoying the ride with bands like DMB, moe., Phish, Pearl Jam, etc.

I’m always super excited to get a new DMB album and without fail - there are 3-4 songs that blow me away and I can’t stop listening to them. Sadly - maybe 1 song on this album kind of comes close to that. Headed to Nashville next week to see them live - hoping they play mostly their old stuff.

I really enjoy the new CD, new band sound with old vibes.

The songs are full, the songwriting and percussion is clever, just a great sound. This album feels like the Dave Matthews Band took off from Come Tomorrow but polished the mix of the instruments, which they have now perfected since moving on from the Boyd era. Love it!

Enjoying this album very much. The song "The Only Thing" is magnificent!

Disappointing record. Maybe it will grow on me but seems very sloppy compared to many other albums.

Love the songs and lyrics…definitely not there best album but still very excellent for a band over 30 yrs old.

This is not Dave Matthews best. Not worth listening too.

Has some political moments, mentions of love lost and gained, and the usual muse death and dying. Dave and Carter are hanging in there yet. Fun listening too but most likely won’t make the summer boat tunes.

Been waiting… and waiting …. And waiting for this new DMB album. So many different sounds… just a great musical experience and listen. Love it!

I love this album! All the comments on "wanting the old stuff" just don't make sense to me. He's 56 now, the music is much more personal and reflective. This is a different DMB than what we had in the 90s, but they are still amazing!

I weary of critics who tell successful artists when it's time to stop. DMB is one of the few bands that jam by ear. It's an incredible gift. I'm glad to have seen them so many times live. This album actually has a number of good songs. A great album!

starting with away from the world, the band has changed and their music has matured quite a bit from the sounds of crash, big whiskey or remember two things. Walk around the moon, come tomorrow and away from the world show the spirit of the old band with more contemporary instrumentals. while come tomorrow was kind of hit and miss of new stuff mixed with older, walk, apart from break free, which by the way is nice to finally have on a studio album, seems like the evolution of the band. i like it.

DMB or not, it’s just a good album. It is not classic DMB. It is the sound they’re been evolving to for a while now, and it’s pretty great. I’ve been listen to this band since 1994, and I'm very surprised and pleased with “Walk Around The Moon”. Best album they’ve put out in a long time.

If DMB released this album in 1994, there would be no DMB.

What I just heard was awful.

They’ve been around a long time and have put out all kinds of different sounds. They’re taking a different route with this album. I’ve been a fan since the violin days and will always be a fan.

Looking at the last set of albums, it seems all the ideas i liked were apparently LeRoi's. Big Whiskey had some moments...I'd say he still had a hand in the writing of the songs, even if he wasn't around for the recording of them. Subsequent albums after his death seem to not have any of the things I loved about the band. So all I can take from this is "The Dave Matthews Band" that i loved (almost to obsession) died when he did...Mopotomus has picked up where they've left off...

Best live band out there

Coming from someone who was a member of the warehouse for over 20 years I feel like I have a leg to stand on when I say the band just needs to hang it up. They’ve lost the magic and they’ve lost so many key bandmembers, and now they sound like a confusing mess. I won’t be attending their concerts anymore. And if the first single office album is any indication of what’s to come I’ll pass.

Im so happy they added Singing from the Window. That song got me through the pandemic and i hope its the acoustic version of the song.

Dave Matthews Band brings their unique sound to new levels. With Matthews masterful lyrics and a band that sounds more like and orchestra than a jam band the Dave Matthews Band hits it out of the park once again. Put all preconceived notions aside and give this one a spin. Open your mind to a whole new perspective of the world.

First song on the album is perfect in my opinion. I can’t wait for the full album. Glad to get a new album from the boys!
