Overall good. Shockingly, I like some of the less popular stuff rather than hits like “Rock and a Hard Place” and “Fall in Love”. There’s a reason these found fame, but I would suggest anybody interested to listen to some of his other stuff as well. A wonderfully diverse singer who stays honest to his roots and seldom disappoints.

My Ex showed me the song fall in love when we were together I never listened to the whole album and after we broke up I got very upset and I couldn’t listen to it anymore and then I listened to the rest of The album and realized this album was basically telling me that I’d be fine and if I loose love that there would be more in store for me! Also I am a small town country singer and so I can tell if someone has talent in singing and let me just say THIS IS NOT AUTO TUNE! and people need to stop saying it is And Bailey Zimmerman is VERY talented. The pain, emotion, and ache that break through his lyrics make their voices loud and clear, which is exactly what is needed. To be able to feel and empathize with his words, finally having someone be able to express exactly how it feels, gives that soul vindication. The trials and tribulations of what the soul went through with the heart were all for not. The outcome is this gorgeous album that makes you feel like you are reading your favorite book that you can’t put down, no matter how much it’s breaking your heart to read. It’s too good to stop reading, too good to skip any songs. It’s been a long time since I have been able to listen to an album from start to finish. But before you know, the album is over and a cathartic sense of calm washes over you. Everything that was kept in has been released. It’s like an emotional cleanse and I am here for it. Spend the $8. Worth every single penny.

I accidentally downloaded A Rock and a Hard Place by mistake and am glad I did. I love to hear artists who have voices uniquely their own. In world where success leads to copycats everywhere in entertainment, I am drawn to the artists who you know immediately the moment their song begins.
