It has always been my dream to join the navy and be a pilot!! And the TOP GUN franchise has always been my obsession! And it always will be my obsession and even now and then i quote the lines from the movies!

Oh, and also… stop the rude comments on Lady Gaga!! It’s rude, and “hold my hand” goes perfectly with maverick and penny flying on the P-51 mustang at the end of the movie!! Here’s an idea if you don’t like the song, just skip the end!!!🤯🤯🤯

Lady whatever her name is does it again with a song that sounds like it is played on the radio every day. The rest of the album is good but I could not play danger zone it said I could not play it in my region.please fix this😀

I love the soundtrack for the original but this soundtrack?!….. ITS FIRE 🔥. Tom Cruise as the role of Captain Mitchell(Maverick) is awesome and the fact that he came back to portray Mav at an older age so many years after the original is amazing!!! Top Gun Maverick is one of a kind and will put people on the edge of their seat! Truly an amazing way to wrap up the two movie franchise!!! Thank you for bringing some of the original songs as well as incorporating new ones.

The movie was awesome! We’ve watched it 9 or 10 times already. Enjoy it each time we watch it! I love this song by Lady Gaga! We clean the house to the music and listen to it in the truck. Love it!

This movie is my favorite movie of all time and it is just outstanding! Lady Gaga is a queen and she has a beautiful voice! All of the longs just fit in perfectly. Miles Teller: Great Balls Of Fire is one of the best songs ive ever heard and the actors are just outstanding. One Republic: I Ain’t Worried fits right in the moment and its an amazing song! Why are all of you guys hating? Its your opinion but this movie is worth the watch ans its just absolutely amazing!

I’m a metal guy. I love this movie. It’s one of the best action movies ever made. I always thought Lady Gaga was talented but nothing really connected with me. But Hold my Hand is absolutely beautiful. The music is soaring and inspirational. Lady Gaga’s talent is on full display here. Her voice is amazing and powerful. I lost my sister this year, I know this song is not about that, but it inspires me. I’m so glad it was there for me.

i’ve seen a lot of people complain about the one republic song in here, and all of i have to say is that they needed a fun upbeat song for the fun, upbeat beach scene, and that song is perfect for it. i love all the sampling of the original soundtrack at the start of the movie. i would be lying if i said i didn’t get chills at the beginning. as for the gaga song, it was pretty good honestly, but it really worked for all of the scenic shots at the end. it made me feel nostalgic, sad, and happy at the same time, which i think was the goal of the song itself. after all, the point of the soundtrack is to back up the movie. it’s not the focus at all except in the beginning. all in all, a great soundtrack for a fantastic movie. ✈️

I loved the movie, but as a whole, this soundtrack has too much instrumental music. I do love that they included "Danger Zone" and it would have been sorely missed. I just wish they had a few other songs that were playing in the background to make this a complete album. I recommend buying the original Top Gun soundtrack and adding "Lady Gaga" as a bonus track.

P.S. I love the Gaga song, but the first 7 seconds are just odd. They don't fit with this "Anthem."

It is strange like another reviewer wrote that the album is split into two albums once downloaded? One album has the songs on it from Lady Gaga, One republic etc and the other album has all the orchestra songs on it! Why?

Update we despite being two albums as a download there is a way to play it as one album. Just have to change the album setting.

The movie was good you heard the music. I am one of few reviews that really like Lady Gaga, she is herself and has née own persona. I enjoyed the scene in the movie and loved the YouTube Video.

I saw the first Top Gun in 1986 and really enjoyed it. The revised version of TOP Maverick is hands down better and even more exciting than the original. I’m an aviation enthusiast and felt the directors and Cruise did an outstanding job on the flick. Awesome movie and a must see in the theater. Try grabbing it in IMAX for excellent impact.

Now for the bad stuff. The new soundtrack is terrible with exception to Kenny Loggins Danger Zone, Hans Zimmer who is a musical icon and genius, and Lorne Balfe and Harold Faltemeyer I can live without the rest. I actually own one Lady Gaga song, which I really like but “Hold my hand”, well, not exactly great. Stick with the Beatles.

In the end I don’t recommend this soundtrack. The original is far better and contains “Take my breath away” by Berlin, which this album did not.

The Top Gun: Maverick Soundtrack is great!

However, iTunes needs to get their act together. Bought the entire album in one shot and they split the album into two. Then some of the tracks won’t play on my computer, yet will on my phone. Very frustrating. Didn’t have that issue with tapes or CDs back in the day 🙄

Imagine dropping one of the worlds biggest most talented bands to go with lady Gaga? That’s what these losers did! Soundtrack is just terrible. Go listen to the 80s version.

No real vision with the score here. Thankfuly it did not hurt the film - but it sure didnt help.

Should have left the dated Falthmeyer sound behind and let Hans sit this one out. Balfe could have been let loose to bring something fresher and more electronic.

For as amazing the film was, the soundtrack lacked substance to adequately compliment the film. Gaga’s Hold My Hand just repeats itself and has a tough time connecting the film and music. Just doesn’t work for me.

I like the album, but, I don’t understand why apple downloads it as two, part of the album is one album, and the rest is downloaded as a separate album. Try to merge the two seem impossible. Other than that, go see the movie and buy the album.

Disappointed

Okay, so I totally don’t like Lady Gaga one bit, but I am writing this review to say that this movie is AMAZING!!! Best movie of all time,guaranteed. And Lady Gaga hasn’t entirely ruined it. I thought that her song was alright, but it ain’t something I’m listening to again (until I watch the movie a second time).

Don’t care how much they promote her, how much she tries to shoehorn herself into everything, lady blah blah is the most unappealing entertainer of the last 15 years. Stop trying to force her on everyone.

This was not what I was expecting. Not a moving score, Hans Zimmer usually does not let down, this was a let down. Miles Teller’s take on Great Balls of Fire lacks the excitement of that song, never really takes off. OneRepublic song boring. Hold My Hand is a song that takes time to grow on you, needs more than one listening. Overall this is a weak soundtrack for such an anticipated Top Gun sequel.

The Gaga sound is fantastic, and it is fitting for the Top Gun sequel! However, the song by One Republic is absolute GARBAGE! I hope the rest of the songs are not like the One Republic song.
