it’s such a good album . She honestly did her best on this one, but i do agree with ppl saying Hot Pink was better (just a personal preference) but her music is all good i love it !!! and why everybody gotta hate on her like you don’t even know if that stuff abt her was true. get over it.🙄

Everything else is wack. The lyrics, the voice, it's like listening to a child singing about "laying the pipe", kinda creepy. Pop music isn't supposed to be this ratchet anyway. This is like what instagram thots probably listen to. Just to be clear, I am rating based on the song "Need to Know", since that's the only one I liked enough to ever add to my music library and listen to. Based on the lyrics in that song, I have no interest in listening to any of her other trashy songs, I just can't help finding that one catchy, but other than that she seems like another one of these trashy female "artists" today like cardi B or Megan thee Trashbag.

I’ve seen the reviews I’m sorry but people this does not mean to bring up disrespectful comments her songs are good just because she messed up does not mean you have to criticize her

I’ve been a fan of Doja Cat since 2017 and this has to be the best album ever done by her. It’s a shame it didn’t win the Best Album award in the Grammys. Maybe next time!

THIS PLACE WAS OUTRAGEOUS. THE WAITERS WERE SO RUDE. I ASKED FOR A DIET COKE (MY DOCTORS SAID I MUST REDUCE MY SUGAR INTAKE.) IT TOOK THEM 1/2 AN HOUR TO BRING DRINKS, HOWEVER I TRIED TO BE POLITE BECAUSE THEY COULD HAVE BEEN SHORT STAFF DUE TO COVID-19. AFTER THEY BROUGHT DRINKS I ORDERED ENCHILADAS WITH NO MEAT. WHEN THEY BROUGHT MY ENCHILADAS AN HOUR LATER, I SLICED INTO THEM. I THOUGHT THEY ADDED BEEF BY MISTAKE, IT SMELLED DISGUSTING. TURNS OUT I ALMOST CONSUMED HUMAN FECAL MATTER. ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

So, I know all this “girly” music, rap stuff. Not to be offensive, I like it like the other people here. I didn’t know until reading YOUR reviews that Doja Cat was racist. ‘She’s just coming back from her saying she hates black ppl’ you say. ‘Album of the year’ you say. Mixed feelings here. Do the people who are in love with this know that Doja was “racist”. Doja says she isn’t.

I was not a Doja Cat fan. I don’t know why I listened to the album but, I did. And, I’m glad I did. This is the best album and she should win album of the year. Her voice is so unique. She can sing and rap like no other. Buy the album. I haven’t heard the deluxe yet but I will buy that also. Better than Kanye and Drakes new garbage albums!!!

She’s fire 🔥 but she is just trying to come back after she said she hates 👩🏾‍🎓people so she has hot music but she hates us black people

I’ve heard Doja on the radio a few times (namely Say So & Baby I’m Jealous [Her collab with Bebe Rexha]) and seen her perform on TV as well and I think she has a unique voice, a great stage presence and creativity when it comes to her performances.

That’s where the positives end for me sadly and it’s a shame because I think there’s definitely a place for Doja in Dance Pop (with R&B, Hip-Hop/Rap & 80s elements mixed in) next to Dua and Abel (The Weeknd). My biggest problem is she sounds too much like the other female acts on Top 40 & Hip-Hop/R&B radio currently (Ariana, Cardi, Ava, Megan, etc.). Not to mention, the current state of Hip-Hop/Rap is one I’m not the biggest fan of. I feel Doja and her voice are much better suited for Pop/R&B rather than Pop/Hip-Hop.

As for Planet Her, the potential for a breakout album, a Future Nostalgia/After Hours-esque album is definitely there but unfortunately after listening to it, there’s only a couple of songs that really stand out to me: You Right (Feat. The Weeknd) & Alone. These are the only 2 songs I feel you really hear how good, unique Doja’s voice is, the rest sound like anything you’d hear on a Cardi, Megan or Nicki album.

For her voice, stage presence and creativity + You Right & Alone, I’m giving Doja 3 stars.

Doja is nice and kind but she used racist words and it really hurt peoples feelings and I liked her and I found out about it a few months later and she also was rude between LGBTQ people so thats my review
