I really do love Megan! But she keeps letting me down! I want her to give us a different story, and not use the same formula of music.

This isn’t at all what I expected from an album called “Good News”. The first track is a diss track to another artist. I’m very disappointed in the lack of creativity and I feel as if this album will have no impact on Megan’s genre or music at all. I haven’t given up complete hope for later releases, but this is a horrible debut and should’ve been an EP or left unreleased all together.

Okay now, for this album and if I was in person with Megan and her crew I would honestly say that 5 out 17 of these tracks I would bump on the regular because it leaves you with that comeback feeling. Some of the rest of the music especially the opening tracks could’ve been left off like the first two for example. This album would need to redone and made better. Yo I give your two male features props for helping you but this album needs like a Tory Lanes level of help or him feature on a track or two with you. Possibly something because this album really flopped into a Thanos Infinity Stone Snap!!

This album is not good at all. Looking at the history of female rappers, their debut album is usually their best. The sad dilemma is that this is her 3rd attempt at a debut album. Realer and Suga were supposed to be albums but the reception was poor with the exception of two songs so it was written of as mixtapes on paper. This is what will happen of Good News. I wish she would put some actual time and thought into a actual strong body of work.

Meg has songs that have put on her top of the world but she has burned herself out with mixtape after mixtape with no growth and NO replay value. For a debut album, This is devastatingly disappointing. The same beats, flow and lyrics. I enjoy her music but I can name on one hand the songs that I do like. The others I can’t tell the different or they’re just bad. Since the shooting incident, she tries to pander and profit off of the injustice towards black women that has been highlighted this year esp with Breonna Taylor. Overall Good News proves Meg can’t stand on her own as a artist but is hanging on for dear life with her social media presence. If her songs don’t stick with The TikTok kids she is done
