The original intent was to present an unvarnished, personal song that has been overlooked. This is way overproduced. Find the original videos- they are fantastic and exactly what true fans have been asking for for years.

Jimmy's taken advantage of this covid year to rework songs that fans love but too many people don't know. These are completely rethought; he's not just putting out an album but has given a lot of care to how to record these. The arrangements are beautiful. The songs become new as Jimmy and his friends apply a lot of love to playing them. Tin Cup Chalice just breaks my heart; it's so good. Thanks, Jimmy.

If you are unfamiliar with these songs, you will love this record. If you heard or saw the songs live through the years, then the record isn't needed.

these may be some old songs but amost of them are so much better than that crap he put out earlier this year, in fact most of his output the past 20 years has been bad, certainly since licenesed to chill

I enjoy mostly anything Jimmy releases but would prefer he focus on new music. These songs are 40+ years old and most Buffett fans will already have them. I know he just released new music 6 months ago but isn’t there some unreleased tracks from 50 years of recording music?

2020, with all its strife and pain, was still Jimmy Buffett’s biggest year in a long time. Phenomenal concept, thanks for listening!

This man continues to inspire and create a sense of escapism during uncertain times. It is also a great find for people to know this legendary songwriter is much more than “cheeseburger in paradise” and “Margaritaville” .
