Does it really matter what genre it is like seriously y’all calm down he can sing whatever he wants it’s his songs not yours and he can sing about his wife all he wants🙄 It’s great music with it being country or not

Can we just place this album as pop. There is nothing on here that says country. I HATE turning on the radio and listen to these “country” artists claim their music belongs in country. This is so bad!!! NOT COUNTRY!!! Nashville should be ashamed.

I preordered this entire album and and only got 4 of the songs. I want the rest of the album but i have to pay for it again:( But i love the songs!

I was swimming in the sewer one day and found this trash record at the bottom of the sewer with all of the other trash. A few rats were chewing on the cd and quickly died, however, this record works greatly as human repellent as nobody would want to be near this.

To all the people one starting it ... please die you are all awful ... Thomas Rhett is amazing and he sings from the heart if you don’t like it move on

TR is a good artist. But this music isn’t country at all. He sings about his wife and that’s about it. Other than that he’s a good POP artist.

I love all these songs! Country Music is changing. It’s not like the country music of the 90’s. People need to get over it. These songs have heart and soul and he is so talented. So what if he writes songs about his life and the people in it! That’s what makes it so good and relatable!!

Who cares what genre it is. Country, Pop or Rock and Roll. I have all of his Albums and love them all. I am a true fan and will probably listen to anything he makes and will love it. Keep them coming. One of your top fans. Screw the haters.

I was a little apprehensive when Look What God Gave You and Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time came out. They were a lot more pop than I expected but when I got the full album I LOVE IT!!! Center Point Road, Remember you young, and Dream You Never Had are my faves. Great job TR!

Really miss the old TRhett.. he’s gone total soft on us country fans.. he’s been trying to be more main stream for a while now...I can’t tell if I’m listening to country or Bruno Mars.. and he tried to do maybe 2 actual country songs on this album but they just aren’t very good

Thomas Rhett is one of my favorite song writers and singers😎 this album is great!!! I wish Thomas and Keith Urban would write a duo together! They have the same energy and foresight of the future and I’m 64 years old and love country. I grew up on Patsy and I just love Alan Jackson! Open your mind and just enjoy the journey that Thomas is giving us! 💕

I love Thomas Rhett. He and Kane Brown are the reasons that I now even listen to Country music. The album is solid and probably has a few radio hits on it. I don't think it's as awesome as his Tangled album but definitely doesn't disappoint!

Thomas Rhett is music for people who do not like music, but only barely listen to it in the background lest their mind is forced to dwell in a silent moment and focus on a stimulative or original thought. Songs like “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time” and “Look What God Gave Her” symbolize the worst appropriations of vapid dance pop even perpetrated in the country genre. “VHS” is so laughably bad, Beck is probably kicking himself for not thinking of this oversexed tripe when he recorded Midnight Vultures mocking the stupidity of this shallow version of R&B music.

Is that what the critics are wanting, more twang? I think this guy has a "country attitude", that is enough for me. Maren Morris made a "pop" record but it still has country attitude and the lyrics are "country". Country lyrics are like direct and simple and drinking whiskey and watching the sunset, haha, beyond that it comes down to heart and soul not your conventional definition of what you think a country singer should sound like. I think Thomas has talent to offer and this record delivers that from the clips I heard.
