The beats are tight and the samples are perfect, BUT these guys can't stay on the beat when they're rapping! So it comes off sloppy, and it kills the overall song when these guys are so off!

There are only 3 white rappers I like- the Beastie Boys, Eminem, Logic
And no, this album was from the 1986 & Kamikaze is from 2018, weird that Eminem’s Kamikaze album is very, very similar but he has no excuse for this even though I love Eminem & a huge fan

Definitely one of the greatest rap albums of all time.
And to all the kids who think Eminem stole the cover, 1988 came before 2018.

Great album

Albums like this Speak for themselves! In the forefront of Rap Of The 80’s like Run DMC, LL Cool J to name a few The Beastie Boys were and are a hip hop Leviathan! Rest In Peace Adam Yaucht!

To offset the morons giving it 1 star for “copying Eminem’s album cover.” How people can be so stupid, I’m not sure.

Licensed to Ill is one of the best rap albums ever made, PERIOD. Released during a time N.W.A & Public Enemy were very hardcore & revolutionary, Beastie Boys showed that you can have so much fun with rap music instead of sending a message, or standing up for your city, race, or against the government. Licensed to Ill is a fun, amazing, inspriational, and a game changing album for rap & rock... making it easily one of the best albums of the 80s...... wow, all that to say Eminem was actually the one who borrowed the cover from Beastie Boys.... keep kids from embarassing themselves.

Copyright? Kamikaze
