Only one

This is the least disturbing cc album, but the song titles are actually worse than Evisceration Plague.

They are THE BEST at what they do

They've stuck to their formula and improve their production quality and song structure with every release. This band is the definition of death metal. It's in your face as soon as you play the first song, and leaves you trembling with joy and a serious case of tinnitus by the last. You want death metal? Well this is it at it's very best. Play it loud and proud.

JUST NOW

The masses are just now starting to realize just what a masterpeice this album is, it's literally the best thing since sliced bread, why people rate their other albums over this one is beyond me, because this is the pinnacle of Cannibal Corpse, and I've been patiently waiting for them to repeat this glorious creation again for years now. I listen to almost every song daily and it acts as a stimulant for me and it makes my 6 hour drive to Columbia and back possible, Especially Submerged in Boiling Flesh, that is still the most explosive song they've ever produced and it needs a successor like right now.

No surprises, just great death metal

I recently saw someone make an analogy to Cannibal Corpse as the AC/DC of death metal, and I think it's a pretty on point comparison. Kill is the 10th album of their career, but it's not so different from their 4th album or their 13th album. With Cannibal Corpse you kind of know what you're going to get by this point and that is some technically proficient gore obsessed death metal. Cannibal Corpse don't throw musical curveballs like a lot of their peers, but they have yet to release a bad album in almost 3 decades of existence.
Kill is quite possibly the best album of the incredibly consistent Fisher-era. Musically the band had never been tighter or more technical before. George Fisher's vocals like always are stylistically nimble, highly varied in pitch and tempo, and quite brutal. He is definitely among the premier growlers in the game. Finally, the collection of songs itself is quite memorable, and many of the tunes are catchy in a death metal sense. All in all, Kill is right behind Barnes' send off The Bleeding in Cannibal Corpse's best albums for me.

I'm not a die hard death metal fan but I'm standing up for CC

Sometimes I like death metal sometimes I don't and it tell you the truth, C.C. Isn't my most favorite band in the whole wide world but I'm defending them 'cause I'm sick and tired of these 1 star reviewers dissing them. There's an audience out there that this music appeals to and if you're not one of them, leave and review music that you DO like. This band worked hard making this album and didn't make it to let it be trashed.

BRUTAL.

Cannibal Corpse is by far the most brutal, hardcore deathmetal band in the history of music. This album does not dispute that. With great guitar riffs and drum tracks this album kicks A**. They have shown real talent in maintaining clarity through the utmost disortion and speed. This album was mixed perfectly and the guitar tones are PERFECT (at least for me). Corpsegrinder has deathly powerful vocals on this album as well.

As a Christian...YEAHH!! \m/

These guys are amazing, sure alot of their themes are gorey, but they're not satanic, as far as I'm concerned. One of the only classic death metal bands I like. This album stayed true to their roots while giving a more modern death sound. Good Shiz! \m/

Everything you want from a death metal album.

This is truly a masterpiece of the modern times in the death metal genre. It reflects where metal is right now while staying close to their roots. Make Them Suffer seems to be the most popular song from this album, but I believe the other tracks reach beyond it in all respects. Barbaric Bludgeonings, 5 Nails Through the Neck, Death Walking Terror and Necrosadistic Warning stand out to me far more than their hit song. I would recommend you purchase this album from iTunes because it is $8.00 and undeniably a metal masterpiece. I don't typically go pump up every album I like with a five-star rating; this one truly deserves it.
Also, I'm seeing a lot of hate in previous reviews. These people are probably not fans of the genre and I doubt they have listened to the album in its entirety. Nor am I sure of what they are trying to accomplish by typing in all caps!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and yelling about it being 'terrible music'. Grow up is all I have to say.

some will like it, others...

It just isn't creative. you don't have to be that talented to make this. i will give the vocals credit it is definetly giving a dark and creepy vibe to it definetly but the lyrics, the guitar, drums, they all sound like there playing random notes all at once and not making it at all rythmic. it doesn't take creativity to talk about these things in lyrics i'm pretty sure if i felt like it i could come up with gorey disgusting things to scream about to, but i don't because it wouldn't sound good. it definetly has some potential.. and the fans of this, i can see what you like about them, it just isn't for everyone

....

This album is very good, cc has had some better albums but I'd recommend this one. The problem with all of you idiots is that you cant appreciate the talent that is takes to play this type of music. You don't have to like it, but don't sit there and say it isn't music and that it takes no talent. My favorite band of all time will always be pink Floyd.. Always. But I still love this genre of rock because I see the talent it takes plus I think it sounds brutal so I like it. You people need to recognize good music when you hear it.

Lol at all the whiners

-----------INCESSANTLY LONG COMMENT, BUT FOR A GOOD CAUSE------------
Ha! I don't even listen to this band yet, mainly because I was deterred by the horrendously beautiful album artwork and the name of the band, but I think I could give this a fair rating of four stars based on the previews. I must say though, what's up with all of the overly religious white kids calling us metal fans social outcasts, freaks and homicidal maniacs?
Just before I open into another rant defending metal, I have to say this- Thank you people who were fans of this band, who were fans of their older music and gave LEGITIMATE REASONS as to why you dislike this album. Even more thanks to those aforementioned fans who gave detailed comments about their dislike.
And now to go to the NEXT batch of cookie cutter religion-addicts who complain about this music. GOOD GOD!! Why do you do this! Seriously! You want proof that not all of us are are self-desacrating freaks! Almost everybody I know took a look at me when we first met and told me I looked like I listen to "adele" and all that stuff. I DON'T!! Besides, listening to this music is rather liberating! It shows that the people who make this music and those who listen to it have a level of individuality far above your mainstream little bubble of first world problems.
And besides, can you even COMPREHEND the amount of skill it takes to play a guitar the way these guys do? And do you know how hard it is to sing like this? I do, and it's one of the most difficult things I can do, and I can't even do it well! And then there's your mainstream bands, who have managed to show us that they have enough skill to figure out how to use an auto tuner and electronic drums that almost play for you.
You guys seem to have a teenager who takes estrogen pills to keep his voice high, a lady who is already balding and wore meat onstage, and other rich wannabes. We have bands who went through HELL to get to where they got to. You wanna what Metallica went through to get their jobs? Slept in a cardboard box in an apartment, living off of occasionally raw food and each other. It's really a shame that they kinda sold out…
And besides, when you look at pop and rap, all of those songs are the exact same thing every time. With rap, it's all "I'm gonna shoot you foo", and with pop it's either "Let's party!", or "I'm breaking up with my boyfriend". And I KNOW what I'm talking about, I used to listen to pop ALL the time, and I have a younger sister who plays it out loud full-blast on her stereo. So don't pull a "you don't even get how it works, freak" on me.
Before I cut off, if any of you DO complain again, please leave a comment longer than a sentence, use correct grammar, and actually DEFEND your cause instead of doing a "hit and run" thing. And take it seriously, to boot. People only laugh at those comments.

This band is sick I love everything heavy, and dark and this band is the definition for heavy and dark. I LOVE THIS BAND!!!!!!! it is my new favorite! (by the way rap stinks!!!) ( what do you get when you put a 'c' in front of rap?!?!?)(exactly it burns itself)

I like hard core rap and Death and Black metal... Brotha Lynch Hung is one of my favorite rappers, dirty grimy dark music is beautiful... We should all be so lucky for it to exist! It makes Yuppies and "the Man" uncomfortable because it refuses to conform to their lame cookie cutter standards. Anarchy = Mother of Order.

***cannibal crap would be a better name***

All of you metal heads out there need to listen to Fates Warning, Flotsam and Jetsam, Over Kill or Testament, Pantera.and hear the difference between crap and good metal. The music is alright but the vocals could be done by anybody that has down a bottle of Jack and is pukeing in the toilet, which is where this album belongs.

I'm just gonna say it

No talent. The vocalist is too low and you can't understand any of the words. Gory? How CAN it be when there are no real lyrics just random grunts. People who listen to this are ignorant. Go check out Children of Bodom, (early) In flames, six feet under, Amon Amarth, and definitely Kataklysm... But this, this is just WAY overrated.

I think Kill pretty much perfected death metal. Cannibal Corpse are just as good now as they were in 1990, as shown by this masterpiece. C'mon, just listen to the first song. If you are not sold by that, you are not a DM fan.

Stop hating

This album is great. Ive noticed this band has a lot more haters than i expected. They say things like, "the singer goes WAAAAAHHH." most people dont even realize how hard it is to do that kind of stuff. All rappers have to do is talk to a beat and people call it music. Sceaming/growling is in some cases 10x as hard as singing (unless you listen to screamo). And as for instrumentals if you could listen to each individual instrument playing at once you would be amazed by the technicallity and coplexity of the parts each one of them is playing. The beauty of it is, is that they can play insanely fast parts and still make it all fit perfectly together. If your going to listen and review please give it more thought than just, "oh theres screaming. i hate it."

2010-07-06

ok

This is a decent album. Ive heard better stuff before in my life. But i feel that corpsegrinder is a much better vocalist then chris barnes. I cant even listen to the original CC albums or six feet under. Its just terrible. And if u do like death metal or any kind of metal at all i would advise giving this album a chance. Its pretty good.

WHAT!!!!!!!!

Ok SERIOUSLY!!!! Go and listen to some old Cannibal Corpse with Chris Barnes, like the song "Edible Autopsy" and then after that listen to the song "Make them suffer" with George Fisher (CorpseGrinder), and you will soon realise that what you are listening to is TOTAL CRAP. I highly suggest you DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM OR ANY OTHER ALBUMS WITH CORPSEGRINDER because his screaming just makes me want to vomit blood.

Ugh. Such Simple Minded People.

Has anybody here noticed that 99% of the people who have rated this 1 star say that because it's "not music"? This is just a different genre than you're used to.
People who say that it takes no talent to do those vocals- Considering your beloved Justin Beiber can't get his voice deeper because he's the human squeak (as his nickname to society is), George Fisher can get his about 20x lower.
No talent for the guitar? Look at online guitar tabs for any of your Jonas Brothers music. They can't go anything faster than about one chord per second. Let alone string hopping, trem picking, and trills.
Hate the drums? I'd like to see Lady Gaga get above 200 bpm. And for her to even know what double bass is.
So basically, if you're hating on this music, and don't even say it's emo. This is totally different. Just because it mentions violence doesn't mean it's fans cut themselves. SO all I have to say is if you don't know anything about death metal, just leave this alone.

Please silence the ignorant

@DANOWAR - if you call these the gods of Death, you obviously are oblivious to what you are hearing. Chuck Schuldiner, the founder of Death pioneered death metal. You have misconstrued your facts.
This band is alright if you like hardcore death metal, however with the recent release of Death's entire collection, you may be more touched by his collection rather than Cannibal Corpse.

Their best IMO

I think this album is the best album that Cannibal Corpse has ever made. Make Them Suffer is crazy of course and i think Manical is just what it states. All the emo pussies need to stop complaining about this music and just go and cut their wrists. Im sick and tired of people complaining that metal is to Satanic or the these song titles are too scary, SHUT THE HELL UP. If you dont like it, fine, dont listen to it, but just know that Death Metal and Black Metal are the most extreme forms of music to ever be created and they kick the hell out of all your little emo bands any day.

Not a Fan

Wow. Just...wow. Cannibal Corpse is the perfect example of a band that relies on "shock" to capture fans, not music. From the cover art to the titles of songs, there's nothing musical on this album, just roaring. AND I'm not some "scene kid" or an emo loser, or a rap fan, or any of that ****. I like metal. ITS A DEATH METAL ALBUM...WHAT DO U EXPECT?!?!

First off, these ARE talented musicians. They just choose to represent themselves differently, and display works of art representing anger and death (hence "death metal"). People who feel that they have a need to condesend other peoples works of art, really need to grow-up and learn to be tolerant of what is existant in this world. The truth is, people only dissaprove of things because they are "different" or "wierd", and because they are afraid of it, or don't understand it. Bottom line: If you don't like it, don't listen to it. Death metal isn't for the ignorant.

Bravo!

This album is fantastic! Honestly, they did an amazing job! Although I am kind of dissapointed with the album art, but it does kind of get me pumped up, so I guess its fine. Now to everyone who does not understand why this is music and call it 'talentless', do shut up. You will never understand why this is music and will never understand why someone can feel good while listening to it. Is this their best album? No. But it certainly is NOT trash, I can tell you that much.

True Death Metal

To everyone that says CC is talentless, hear me out.
Pick up a guitar, and try to play like the guitarist.
Try to get your voice to sing as low as the singer, George Fisher
Try to do blast beats like the drummer.
These guys take no talent? That is a new one to me. If you say they are talentless, just try the music. I KNOW you cannot do it.
To those who don't like death metal, but are respectful, thank you. If you don't like this, you don't like it. But if you diss it, you are probably just not wanting to admit that you like this music because of your insecurity of yur own musical taste.
Now back to the review. This album is one intense death metal album. If you are into death metal, this album is a must.

First off, In Flames and As I Lay Dying and A7X s|_|ck compared to death metal. Second, Alex Webster said in an interview that Cannibal Corpse IS NOT a satanic band. Made me think.

This is not my kind of music. But, I was reading the other reviews and a couple of people amde some really good points, like about how the steretype about metal is that people who listen or compose it are " Devil Worshipers." Although that is true for a couple of bands most of the time it's not true. Also , someone made another point about how " why can't death metal be about death?" I applaud him cause' that's a great point.

The Time To Kill is Always

The best deathmetal album anyone has realeased in a while(Let's Pretend i did this review the day it was released). This CD is a masterpeice in the Cannibal Corpse Arsenal (Keep in mind this is Opinion). I Give it a five stars for quality, technique, production, talent, and effort. No matter what the reviews are in magazines or even on iTunes, these guys never cease to release albums that do not stray from the original idea. True metal thru-n'-thru. These guys deserve respect for all the years of work and no screwing around. After all they have enough negative feedback on here to make a whole new country, is that popularity or what?!

Fast, Brutal, everything I ever wanted from Cannibal Corpse

If you don't like the vocals, then you don't appericiate talent. A talent is a task you can do well, or uniquely. If you say George Fisher is untalented, go sing Severed Head Stoning, Cyanide Assasin, They Deserve To Die (from The Wretched Spawn), or Make Them Suffer and post it on Youtube. I'll bet you can't even talk as fast as George in Cyanide Assasin or Severed Head Stoning. Or hold the long high-pitched scream in They Deserve To Die for 20 seconds. And dammit, I hate the stereotype that meatlheads are on drugs. Oh, I see, pick on the metalheads. The "Gangsta" rappers are considered decent, and yet half of them have been arrested for possesion of illegal drugs. Okay, I think that's it. Get this album if you like brutal, fast technical music. I swear, if you like Cannibal Corpse or you're open-minded enough to appericiate talent, you won't regret this. And no, it would take years of practice to scream like George, play like Mazurkiewicz , Barret, Webster, or O'Brien. If you don't understand this kind of music, you were never meant to. This is for the people that can think. I mean, it's not like skeletons are going to pop out of someone right? And besides, critism makes a band strong. I see there's a lot of critism for the band.
"Let them taste the wrath as the agony consumes them, swallowed by the darkest light a blackened state of dismay, survival is the only thing left for them. This grievous revelation is a new beginning, led to the solution against their will."
-Make Them Suffer
See? It's not that hard.
And if you think these song titles are disgusting, wait until you see their old songs. Back when Chris Barnes was still around. I suggest Butchered At Birth and Tomb of the Mutilated.

AMAZING LIVE BAND

I love this band. But last night I got the chance to see them live for the first time (at the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival 4/28/07) and they were incredible. The most brutally heavy amd TIGHT band I've ever witnessed live....next to Suffocation. The musicianship is top notch (they sound just like they do on cd) and Corpsegrinder has incredible stage presence.
This album is great and although all their albums sound very very similar, just accept that Cannibal Corpse are Cannibal Corpse, and either you like what they do, or you don't. I love this band.

I also love how the lyrics consist of a story of terrible things he's done to people then ends it with a coup de grace of him getting his just desserts in submerged in boiling flesh. all around fantastic death metal. still not as good as eaten back to life imo though.

justification?

ok just to sort of justify what my friend wrote, hes absolutely right. I am a HUGE thrash/punk/all things hardcore fan, and cannibal corpse's music is not only undistinguishable, but repetitive. Every album has the same feel, and to be blatent, i could go to sleep to that stuff. Another thing, the music doesn't stand for anything. theres no activist message about anti-war, the fall of capitalism, or any other generic music concept. Not that this matters, but if they sang about anything besides ejaculating blood and grinding body parts to shreds, I would think so much better of them. a 6th grader can do this.

Good album.

Pretty good album, considering most CC albums are pretty good. Two things though:
1) Why does the description say it's speed metal? Cannibal Corpse are death metal, speed metal is an offshoot of power metal. They need to fix that.
2) Rap is not talentless. Listen to Public Enemy or NWA. Just cause rap has become a horrible mainstream genre, doesn't mean the whole genre is bad.
I reccomend buying this album if you like goregrind/death metal. I actually prefer the Worm Infested EP, though.

Not their best album but still gets FIVE stars!

Okay for all the people who say that they are writing lyrics about Satan, you are wrong... please read the lyric sheets before you assume that. Also, please make sure you spell Satan's name right, he is not the fabric, satin. I think it is wrong that people are putting this music down because they find it "Satanic". Mostly because I am a Satanist and I feel offended. I think you Satanist haters need to learn about what REAL Satanism is really about. Read the Satanic Bible and then judge me but please don't judge me out of your ignorance. Anywho, the album is awsome, yes it might not be truthful but look at movies like "Hostle" or "House of 1000 Corpses", those were gory and I'm sure the Directors didn't actually sell people to let other people kill them or hide body's in their country home but you didn't see the media complaining about those films, so why should you say "oh the music isn't good because it isn't real" so what, enjoy it for the entertainment vaule. Enjoy the albume... I know I did!!!!

Great Hardcore Band!

Cannibal Corpse has very shocking lyrics! But it's not because they are sick, it's because they want to give you a horror movie in a song! If you think this is satanic at all then you are wrong, this is about gore. Satanic bands are like deicide and dimmu borgir! Just because you listen to death metal does not mean your evil! Cannibal Corpse has a great live show too! Thes guys have great guitar, bass and drums and most of all vocals! It's very hard to scream like he does. Once i watched an interview on these guys and their pretty nice! He does'nt think people should take the lyrics seriously.

A little more friendly...but it's still Cannible Corpse.

Alright alright alright. This is my 3rd review for cannible corpse and I admit this is the highest ranking rating I have given them. I'm not in any way saying that this band is good, beleive me (read my other reviews) but this is a lot better than their other stuff. Cleaner sounds, better quality, a lot more friendly titles.
That aside, I still think that the disputes that rage on and on for or against CC are actually quite hilarious. You got the ultra liberal versus the ultra conservative. Both of which I think are wrong.
First and foremost everyone is entitiled to their own opinion. Some people hate this, others love it. I am against it but only becuase this particluar band is not my favorite. That is the only reason. Sure some of their other stuff is, how do you say?, not suitable for all audiences, but really folks, lets all calm down.
I am not against anyone listening to this and I dont think I have ever actually put any particluar person down for listening to this (Except that ferret guy), honeslty though, lets all take a breather and relax.
Ultra conservative kids, chill out. I know the stuff is kinda gross and makes you shake your head, but when you try and push that on everyone else, it makes you look like an idiot. Just say "I dont like this band" or "This band sounds terrible". Like a kid said on another review, rather than just state you opinion, this has turned into Lets-Just-Diss-Everyone-Who-Likes-Death/Black Metal-Becaue-We-Like-Beyonce. Remember that it is a review...not an opinion place. Keep that for your myspace blogs.
I listen to a lot of different types of music (yes death metal/black metal, grindcore included) and I have nothing against that genre...but like I said before, you listen to your music, and I will listen to mine. And please, write an inteligent review next time.

4 stars for brutality

detractors of this album may have a point that the lyrics and music aren't particularly cerebral, but when i'm stuck in beltway traffic behind a swarm of suvs with soccer ball and/or yellow ribbon bumper stickers, or when i'm in radical disagreement with some uptight yuppie a-hole at work, 'the time to kill is now' is my mantra. sometimes a heady prog rock opus isn't the sonic beating stick that you're reaching for. cannibal corpse: it's what's for anger.

Wow....

I will admit that I love Death Metal. I'm all for it. But I mean come on; this band has no value whatsoever. They sing as if the only thing they can do is growl and snarl and the drumming is the same. All they sing about is killing people. Please people, stick away from this album.

One of Cannibal Corpse's worst albums

Same as the title says, ever since Chris Barnes left, Cannibal Corpse has taken a new, generic sound, and this album proves it. I mean... Corpsegrinder is trying too hard, and he's making that painfully obvious. I mean... 5 Nails Through The Neck? The Time to Kill Is Now? Don't even get me started on Death Walking Terror :/ I love Cannibal Corpse, but I've not heard a good album by Cannibal Corpse since Bloodthirst. They've become so generic now that it's sad, and I can hardly believe that this band put out Tomb of the Mutilated, which was by far, their best work. But to each his own I suppose. \m/

*Sigh*

Well, it's yet another Cannibal Corpse album. Can you guess what the main lyrical themes are? Same as all their other albums: Necrophilia, Murder, Death, Cannibalism, etc., etc. Same old sound. These guys just don't seem to change much from album to album. Also, there is a serious lack of creativity in this. I mean, Kill? C'mon, you can't think of anything better than that? Next time try something that gives the impression of slowly bleeding your victim so death while feasting on their limbs. Your CC collection will be full enough with 2 or 3 of their albums because they are so similar. I recommend Gore Obsessed, Tomb of the Mutilated, or Butchered at Birth over this album. It isn't bad, it's just redundant.

Please read im going to try to sum this up for u guys

ok....now I read everyones review for this cd and the band. everyone is right and wrong. and by the way this is metal. and its good metal. its not crap. i personally think rap is crap. now if your think about it anyone can make music. in one persons review he said babys can do it. F U K H I M. no they cant. this does take talent. i jus dont personally like it. i think that the guitar is cool. i play drums and i can hear wat hes doin so i kno it takes some talent. but he is mostly jus using a double bass and hittin symbols the whole time. the singer....i jus dont like too much. but this is a good band. stop dissin it. if you like it say ok i enjoy listenin to it. not "go lisen to tupac". F*K tupac. i hated him he suked. he deserved what happend to him. rappers bring it on themselves. they get famous, buy a mansion, a cadylak lol. and then go "roll" through the hood and say their gansters. then when they get shot they wonder why. their dumb. and yes rap takes talent too. some. some rap is just stupid and yes i kno. im writing this review because i used to lisen to rap and now i listen to metal. so ikno about both genres. so people i wanted to just settle this arguement between you guys. its stupid im also not a damn peace maker. ima republican and personally think war is good sometimes. but this is juss immature. if u guys like it, like i do some songs, put it on full blast and jamm till your ears bleed. if you dont. then go get in yoooo cadylak and bounce to ni**a music. as for me i will stick to very little of this and more of killswitch engage and edguy. they are cool. and i also LOVE trivium chek em out you wont be dissappointed. and for you rappers out there. dont lisen to crap. get like good stuff like bonethugs and harmony or notorious big. and thas about it. ok happy headbangin guys.

these idiots know NOTHING

FIRST OF ALL: If you do not like death metal, stop rating it, all you idiot white boys who listen to 50 cent. People are going to like different types of music, and the reviews are supposed to compare it to OTHER DEATH METAL. THAT IS WHAT THE REVIEWS ARE FOR.OF COURSE YOU WON'T LIKE IT IF YOU LISTEN TO RAP.
SECOND OF ALL: These people do not "cut." Sadly MTV seems to have sucked everyone's brain out to make them think that any band that has dark lyrics "cuts themselves." Stop stereotyping these people, you know nothing about them, except maybe you've heard 2 of their songs.
THIRD OF ALL: STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE LYRICS. Of course the artists aren't stupid enough to do the things they talk about, they would be in jail. You probably don't realize that most goths (or people who have been labeled as "goth") don't want to die. If they really did they would be dead. It's merely for entertainment purposes, as is any other type of music. The reason I listen to this music, is not because I want to die, it's because I like the music, and I am intruiged by death, not obsessed with it. Stop thinking you know so much about this type of music, you have no idea how deep it goes.

New Singer?

The growling sounds different in this album. I was wondering if Chris Barnes destroyed his voice or if they got a new singer. I like it just as much though!

DO NOT INSULT THE GODS OF DEATH

i agree with RoGue. DO NOT DISS WHAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND. death metal--especially from gods like CANNIBAL CORPSE--is NOT for the weak hearted. when they first formed back in the early 90's their goal was to become the most extreme, offensive band on earth. as far as im concerned, they succeeded.
i kno a lot of you little emo kids with your razors and your tears you tatooed under your eyes and your green and black striped clothes think that this isnt music just because CORPSEGRINDER screams a lot. well, little info: check out their guitar tabs on the net, see if you can play them not only the same way these guys do, but at the same speed...not so easy, is it? or try to scream and yell at the intensity that CORPSEGRINDER does. or try and keep up the blast beats put on by PAUL MAZURKIEWICZ...oh whats wrong, cant do it? its more than 3 chords, its too hard for you? it goes faster than 60 bpm, thats too hard for the "experienced" emo drummer to play on their brand new parent bought drum sets?
that shows that they EASILY have more talent than the used, good charlotte, and all of the other little whiny emo bands COMBINED.
ya kno, most people mock what they fear...just sayin...
for the record, dont try and go jesus on me. im a catholic. out jesusing me is NOT an option. and i dont think ill get blasted to hell for listening to CANNIAL CORPSE, cuz i think jesus is cool like that...im not gonna turn this into a huge religion forum, but point is:

GORE INFATUATION

Cannibal Corpse has always been my favorite gore metal band. And when I heard that this album was coming out, I got worried that it wouldn't be as violent and horror oriented as previous albums. Boy was I wrong!!! Kill is the most brutal album that CC has put out so far. Make Them Suffer and Murder Worship rule. If you don't want to be a big douche, throw away all your MCR albums and get KILL!!!

Kill to This Album

This album is a brutal unrelenting masterpiece that grabs the listener by the throat and doesn't let go until any trace of life has receded into the dark and fiery depths that this kind of sadistic songwriting emanates from. It is a must listen for any new fan of Death or Extreme Metal who wants to hear the music done right. It is also an essential record for any veteran Cannibal Corpse fan that longs for the glory days of Vile. Highlights include "Purification By Fire" and "Necrosadistic Warning," but Kill is truly an album that must be experienced from front to back.

Another KILLer album

'Kill' is another onslaught of carnal energy. The guitar trills in this album are great and this album has some of the best tempo shifts that CC have recorded so far. Some good hooks in this album as well, although maybe not quite as catchy as some past albums. Repeated listenings may continue to change my mind, though. Play Stubbs the Zombie and buy this album.

THEY'VE STILL GOT IT.......

If there's one thing you can count on, it's Corpse coming out with a "Kill"er album every 2 years or so, and Kill does not disappoint. If you are a fan of Corpse, then I don't have to tell you to get this album, you already have it. If not.....get it now and every other one that preceded it. Open your minds and give these guys a chance. Their musical talent is virtually un-matched and they progress with each album. Sure the lyrics are brutal and the artwork is usually violent, but it's all part of the recipe for a bloody casserole that you just can't stop feasting on.

Warning this music is NOT for bible thumpers!

True to themselves & their fans

SWEET disc. I've been following these guys since practically their beginning & I must say, this disc doesn't stray far, at all, from disc one musically. Now THAT is consistency. Best songs on this disc, IMO, are "Murder Worship", "Barbaric Bludgeonings" & "Infinite Misery". It's tough to find Death Metal songs with structure... And one can barely imagination that they actually could be read on sheet music for whatever reason, but after years of listening to these guys, I can see why they're still churning out some sweet "music". If I had one gripe, it'd be that they're lacking on their album covers lately. They used to be pretty intense... just like their music. I can see not having it available in this form, but a brick & mortar shop should remedy that. Either way... it's easily overlooked by the consistent releases of music standing the test of time. I for one am grateful for that C.C. Keep up the sick work!
