THIS ALBUM IS ONE OF THE BEST METAL ALBUMS OF ALL TIME! But where’s the original?

If someone was new to Metallica I would start their listening here. This is hands-down one of the greatest if not the greatest Metallica album or dare I say metal albums of all time.

This album has some serious balls, man! This is Metallica’s greatest album, and perhaps the greatest heavy metal album ever. Rest in peace, Cliff.

The best Metallica album of all time! There is not one bad song in this album. Master of Puppets, Sanitarium, Battery, and Orion are the top four songs in MoP album in Apple Music, but Leper Messiah, Disposable Heroes, The Thing That Should Not Be, and Damage, Inc. are frickin dope! No doubt my favorite Metallica album of all time. They should play all those songs way more often. A masterpiece of an album!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I know most people are saying this is one of the best metal albums ever, but are they talking about Battery, MoP, Sanitarium, and Orion, or the whole album. TTtSNB, Leper Messiah, Disposable Heroes, Damage Inc. These songs are fantastic and don’t get the credit they deserve from most. Don’t get me wrong every song is amazing, just like the album.

....completely ruined by this “Mastered for ITunes” garbage. This sounds awful. Save your coin and find an original copy anywhere else.

Favorite Metallica album

Honestly, I don’t like the production of this album. It sounds pretty flat and lifeless, especially the drums. The first six songs are great, so it’s a shame the production doesn’t do them justice. My other reason for giving it four stars is that I don’t care for the last two songs.

I only bought Battery and the song is great. It is especially good since Amazon made it music unlimited

My other reviews are more in depth so I’m going keep to basic and straightforward. You can shuffle Master/Ride/Justice anyway you want it... Puppets is and always will be a Masterpiece.

This album is a classic. Every Metallica fan has heard it, and there isn’t a bad song on the album. It’s very easy to get lost in this masterpiece. It’s my second favorite album of Metallica, with Justice being first due to the complexity of the arrangements, and the virtuosic showcase on the guitars. Unfortunately, MOP is the last album that Cliff appeared on. The guy who gave this 1 Star because it didn’t come with a digital booklet, is crazy. Either way, the content is 5 Stars.

No point in replacing the old one with this but this is one of the best albums ever made.

I was born in 88. Been listening to this since 1995.. wish I was born in the 70s so I can watch them perform before they became who they are now. I can’t go to a metal concert/ show with assigned seating. I need to free range and maybe get pushed around

Best Metallica album ever

Definitely the best Metallica album ever!

Great album

Not sure what is remastered about this. It's not as clear or loud as the one I already had and there is definitley less bass. Buy the non-remastered version. Costs $2 less and sounds better.

Make no mistake, Master of Puppets is an amazing album. The remastered version does not do it justice.

The album is of course amazing, but I have a gripe with iTunes for charging $10 for a 256 kbps lossy copy when I can purchase the hard copy cd for $6 and import it to my library at lossless fidelity. I give Metallica 5 stars and iTunes 1 star.

This is NIT a review of the album Master of Puppets itself! That, goes without saying... One of the GREATEST albums ever! It CHANGED my life!

Why the 1 star?

Because... This "Remastered" version, is no different than the one you could have bought a week ago, with one exception... The digital booklet! It's not included with this version!

Maybe I'm the minority, or "Old School" but I happen to like reading the linear notes!

People say not to buy it if you already have it. Those people don’t know what their talking about. This is a remaster album meaning it sounds louder and more clearer. Don’t listen to a few fools and buy it even if you already have it. 🤘🏻

If you already have the version on here than don't bother with this one.

The other version already on here sounds better to my ears...
